If you are interested in attending a UWC school, you should apply regardless of your financial circumstances: more than 80% of the students selected by our national committees are awarded full or partial scholarships. You could be next! Scholarships to attend a UWC school Our fees and costs vary by school, but we believe that money shouldn’t be a barrier for someone with potential. This is why UWC International, each UWC school, and more and more national committees dedicate much of their efforts to raise funds that allow us to provide scholarships. That means that promising young people benefit from an exceptional education and our schools benefit from fresh perspectives, diverse cultures and backgrounds – and powerful voices. In order to be considered for a scholarship, you need to apply via your national committee of residency or citizenship. If you do not need a scholarship to attend a UWC, you can consider applying through the Global Selection Programme (GSP) . More information on the application routes is available here . What do scholarships cover? This depends on what places each school provides to the national committees every year. In general, scholarships can be all-inclusive, full, up to fully funded or partial. All-inclusive scholarships They cover everything: tuition, room and board, books, IB exam registration fees, curricular field trips, project weeks, visa and travel expenses (flights to/from the school and one return flight for the holiday between year 1 and 2), pocket money, and any other reasonable extra expenses to be incurred by the student. Full scholarships They usually cover tuition, room and board, books, IB exam registration fees, curricular field trips, project weeks. Up to fully funded They usually cover tuition, room and board, books, IB exam registration fees, curricular field trips. Partial scholarships They usually cover parts of the tuition, room and board, books, IB exam registration fees, curricular field trips. For detailed and updated information on scholarships available through a specific national committee, please contact them directly . How are scholarships awarded? Students at UWC are selected on promise and potential - not on their capacity to pay. As part of the selection process, national committees carry out a financial means assessment. If your application is successful, the exact scholarship amount will be determined based on your needs to ensure you’re able to benefit from a UWC education. In other words: Concerns around money should never hold you back from applying for UWC. My main focus are on IB schools, but I'll list as much A levels, American curriculum or Canadian curriculum schools I find. Be sure to comment if I'm missing any schools that you know and I'll be sure to add, or you can as well write a response of other schools you know. I hope this was helpful.

My kids had exchange programs with schools in Switzerland and Spain, and an internship in a Spanish hospital. Additional exchanges unfortunately were cancelled due to Covid.

Some German schools had exchange programs with US schools, but since Donald Trump tightened visa conditions so that exchange students weren’t allowed to do internships anymore, they all found Canadian partner schools instead. Schools in other European countries promptly followed suit.

So if you are an US high school student and your school doesn’t offer exchange programs with Europe anymore, that’s the reason.

So, correct me if I'm wrong, IB or the International Baccalaureate is a syllabus for high school students. Why would a university offer a high school curriculum?

If on the other hand you meant "Which universities accept IB students?". Then the answer would be quite simple. Barring a few, (like Indian Institute of Technology, not that they don't accept, they have their own entrance systems) almost all of them accept it and view it in good standing.

EDIT: If you're looking for a school to go to, here's a list, you could pick a region and then specifically ask how good that school is. I wouldn't be

I have never heard of open minds school. When I was in my eight grade, I moved to Hyderabad and I wasn’t sure if I could pick a school based on what it offers . I picked oakridge because it was a huge campus with a swimming pool, soccer field, multipurpose hall, skating rink, a huge library, multipurpose halls. It was a little hard to fit in at the start b

they don’t. middle + high schoolers are prepped to go to college in the country, of which most go to colleges not far from their area.

an exception would be if you go to an international school, like the International school of Los Angeles, the French international school in LA adjacent cities. Due to having gone to a school where both languages were taught, alumni of that school go on to various American, Canadian, British, + European, but mostly French colleges.

In that case, you are prepped to be able to go to college in another country if you want.

They don't. Schools prepare their students for post secondary education in the school's country. Not for post secondary education in all of the other countries in the world.

If you want to enroll in a University or College in a different country, you are required to make sure you meet the enrollment requirements for that particular University or College. They will have the requirements for their different study programs listed on their website.

For the model of a good international school in HCMC, it is also known as a full-fledged international school. Students will be fully enrolled in an international program. Languages used in teaching / learning and communication are also foreign languages. Not only that, after studying this program, students will be oriented to study abroad, not suitable to study in national high school programs.

(3) The education is research based where every child is encouraged to learn and find the answers of their doubts at their own by different means.

4) So far as the sports are concerned it is the only school in Hyderabad which has all sorts of sports activities. They have football, cricket, 4 tennis Courts, two basket ball courts, two squash courts, one gymnasium, a golf course, a swimming pool, a badminton court and even Horse riding.

5) Arts are given equal importance in the school. Dance, Drama, Painting, Sculpture, and all forms of fine arts are taught here. And for these also separate dedicated teacher is there.

6) Further after boarding your children in the bus in the morning you need not worry about their food requirements. Morning immediately after reaching the school everybody is provided with nutritious breakfast.

7) After the two periods everybody is served with the nutritious drink either kesar milk, fruit juice, bournvita etc. There is common dining room where everybody has lunch at noon.

8) And in the evening while returning home everybody is given light snacks so that no child go home empty stomach. The children get the hot and nutritious food in the campus all day long.

9) The school is full of various vibrant activities through out the academic year. and the child thrilled to go to school.

10) There is international exchange program also for the students. Wherein every year the children are sent to foreign countries along with the teachers. Similarly the students of the foreign school also vists this school.

I think no other school in India will be providing these much facilities to the children. Therefore you must be assured of the value proposition you are getting for your child against the fee of the Sreenidhi International School.

The fee of this school, is much lesser than any other International School charging in India and in Hyderabad particular.

There is no comparison unless you enjoy comparing apples to oranges and somehow coming out with a logical answer. The cultural differences and the amount of students educated differs completely in each society. For instance, the USA is one of the countries that tries to educate everyone. How does that compare? Probably much more important than those silly international examinations.

Also, isn’t the proof in the pudding? Would you prefer to rely on the results of a test too generalized to be of any use or the fact that the USA is one of the most progressive and successful countries in the world.
