WOMB.

Initial story line is simple, Rebecca (Eva green) and Thomas/Tom (Matt smith) become friends in childhood or i say lovers.

Later Rebecca flees to Tokyo and return back after decade.

Thomas and Rebecca just start their love journey.

But unfortunately Thomas dies in an accident. Then rebecca decides to clone Tom (Thomas) and becomes surrogate mother.

This part still look fine to me as she loved Tom so much that she want to make a clone of him.(as a kid)

Then Rebecca raises the cloned kid (Tom) as her child.

Going fine… yeah?

Tom/Tommy grows up into a man.

And here reveals the purpose of the cloning behind Thomas/Tom. Rebecca wanted to have a child with her lover. And this happens. She gets pregnant with Tom (her cloned son).
