I have tried 3 readings. First one was not accurate at all. Second one was better and maybe 40% accurate, but nothing definitive that I could say FOR SURE was real. The third one, was UNBELIEVABLE - and I am still trying to figure out how she could have known the things she said to me.
My Husband died December 2018. I found an ad on Craig’s list about a university in down town Los Angeles that offers free readings on the phone with the graduating students and their professor. My heart was hurting for him, so I booked an appointment.
I wanted to make sure the psychic was real, because I am mostly a non believer. So I gave a fake name to schedule it. The instructions say to write to the person you want to speak with on a notebook and leave it open for them to read it. It says to tell the person when you are having a reading and ask them to be there, and so I did.
I wrote to my husband as the instructions stated and asked him to think of something only him and I knew to say to the psychic to prove it was really him.
She asked me who it was that I wanted to talk to and I told her my husband. I gave no names or information. I just listened as she passed messages to me. She said I see a man in the back, very quiet, medium tall and described my husband exactly. She said he wanted to talk to me and seemed to have a lot to say.
During the 2 weeks prior to this reading I talked to my husband while driving to work and told him a few things that bothered me. I told him I hoped he was not mad at me for thinking of dating other men. I asked if he hated me? I asked if he was around and told him I didn’t feel him there. I told him I was worried about finding a place to live and that I didn’t want to be homeless. I told him I wished I died with him and how I wanted to be where he is.
the psychic said your husband wants you to know a few things. He says - no he is not mad at you. Why should he be? You have done nothing wrong. He said he knew I wanted to die with him but he was not ready for me to come where he is yet. He said we were connected by the soul and had the rest of eternity to be together so dont rush getting there. He said he is around me all the time and he hears everything I say to him. He said to keep talking. He said he can help me from where he is and that I wouldnt believe the things he can do now. He said when I need him look for the butterfly’s. He said it was ok to smile and be happy and that if I did it would be good for him too.
I just sat and listened and cried. Then she said - he wants you to know that he heard the violins. I almost dropped the phone. Right before I took him off life support, I played 2 videos of his kids - twins - who had just started playing violin at school. The videos were their first two practices for an upcoming concert. We didn’t know they played violin. I was alone with him when I played them for him. I never told anyone about it. I cannot figure out how she knew or could guess something like that?
When the call was finishing she said he had one last thing to tell me. She said ok I am puzzled at this one. Your husband is making bubbles, no - popping noises with his mouth and he is smiling. He says you will know what this means.
And I did! We had a private joke and he used to make popping sounds to irritate me when we were in public and I would chase him to whack him to get him to stop. No one knows about the joke. I am not going to explain it now either. I left that call totally stunned. The lady who did the reading is Janet Waldron. She has a website on the internet now.
Here’s the best part. My husband said to look for the butterfly’s to prove he is around and hearing me. I NEVER see butterfly’s and I didn’t start seeing any either. But something else happened that I cannot explain at work.
We started seeing catepillar’s coming under the door at work in the office that seemed to walk until they died. 3 to 5 per day for about a week. I did not believe it was a sign from him and I talked about that fact daily. Then my boss came in my office to grab me by my arm and take me outside to see the wildest thing!
There were lady bugs - everywhere - stuck all over the building at work. Hundreds. We have been at that location for over 20 years and never seen this happen before and it has never happened again.
Was it my husband? I like to think so.
