We don't hate Serbia at all, but we do find it guilty for a occupation of Croatia in a war that raged from 1990 to 1995. In that war Serbs who lived in Croatia wanted to separate from Croatia state & join Serbia, with a help of Yugoslav army - which was under influence of Serbian government & their generals. It was a war which Croatia won & which diminished the percentage of Serbs in Croatia to under 5% - most of them took off under orders from occupation Serbian krajina to Serbia or Bosnia & Hercegovina. Yugoslav army, one of the top 10 armies in the World in that time, was won by heart, military tactics & leadership of Croatian army. Some Serbs also joined here & waged war against occupation of Serbian forces, as they saw Croatia as their country & wanted to defend it.

Something similar happen in Bosnia & Hercegovina, but as they didn't win the war, a federation was made between occupied Serbian part, Bosnian mostly Muslim part & Croatian part called Hercegovina. As part of Dayton agreement, Croatia signed that it would not want any part of territory in Bosnia & Hercegovina, but that Croats living there had a protection of Croatia (most of them have dual citizenship).

So, we Croatian people don't hate Serbs at all, some of my good friends are Serbs living in Croatia or Serbia. But the guilt of war, war casualties & war compensation is still active theme. Some people still don't know where are the remains of their loved ones, on Croatian & Serbian side - though more information about casualties demand from our Croatian side. It was only 20y ago, so the wounds are still fresh, as you can see mostly in Nov when people visit memorials of genocide in Vukovar & Škabrnja. We don't hate, just remember what happened & will not forget it.

But we also know that Love & dialogue is a way of the future, for developing our neighbouring countries. ;)
