Well, it depends on your business, the product you are selling AND YOUR BUDGET.
For this answer, I’ll assume that you do have a good budget to work with.
- RUN AD CAMPAIGNS
Step 1 - prioritize your platforms
I would suggest you first run an ads campaign on LinkedIn and Quora. Be sure to set up a good landing page and offer something of value in return for contact information.
Step 2 - enroll contacts in an email campaign
Then, follow up with the lead first through email (something like hey, we noticed you downloaded xyz resource on x topic, and this is exactly what we at [company name] help our clients with. Would you be interested in a quick 5 minute call to discuss this further).
Next, follow up with a call after you’ve sent at least two emails. At this point, it’s usually helpful to have other data on your account/prospect that can help you sell your product in a better way. For this, opt for data enrichment because you will need deeper insights besides the basic contact info that you have collected.
Step 3 - rinse and repeat with the other platforms
A/B test your ad campaigns on both the platforms and see which version drives the most traffic. ‘Copy’ the same ad for other platforms (my opinion; prioritize as follows - Google Ads, Facebook, Reddit).
If the same ad isn’t working - and it very well might not since all these platforms have different ‘moods’ (that’s how I like to think of the way the same users interact with each other/the platform differently on each site), start from scratch. Create a new ad copy, a new landing page and offer something different. Repeat step 2.
Remember, this isn’t an exact science, there is no one size fits all formula.
- INTERACT WITH USERS AND BUILD A COMMUNITY
Besides running ads, you can also generate B2B leads from these platforms.
For this, the first step would remain the same - prioritizing your platforms. I’d suggest you start from Quora, LinkedIn and Reddit.
Start by posting regularly through your company and personal accounts to build your authority on LinkedIn.
On Quora, build up your personal profile by answering relevant questions, interacting with thought leads in the community - the idea is to make your profile as visible as possible. Drop in links to your site in your answers (where it makes sense).
Do the same on Reddit.
Next, gather thought leaders from your space (after building rapport on LI and Quora) and add them to a group on Facebook. Here, you can market your solution as something that helps customers solve a particular pain point and make sure that the conversation revolves around the pain point - this would automatically pull them towards your solution.
For instance, I’m a co-founder at Cloudlead - we’re a B2B contact data solution that provides custom data points (along with managed lead generation services for enterprise clients as well as small businesses).
As the person in charge of marketing and branding, my focus on all these platforms is building authority in the lead gen industry so I interact with CEOs, sales heads, etc. In short, people relevant to what our business does.

Good luck!
