Ancient Egyptian Prwst, Pa-ra-sa-ta, Pršt/Plšt (Ramsses III, Second Pylon at Medinet Habu; Papyrus Harris I), is the name of a tribe of Sea Peoples who invaded Egypt and the eastern Mediterranean coast in the late Second Millennium B.C. Same as Akkadian Pa-la-aš-tu. Sea Peoples - Wikipedia .
The only “Canaanite” text mentioning them is the Hebrew dialect of Canaanite, listing them as Pĕlešet “Philistia” (Isaiah 14:29,31), and Pĕlištîm “Philistines” (Judges 16:20), which is also the source of the later toponym Palestina/Palestine. The Philistines constituted the powerful Hellenic Pentapolis of southwestern coastal Israel, which dominated Israel beginning with the late Bronze Age.
