A new discipline.

[It is worth being scientific about philosophy, at least as a waystation to some other place].

Mental Agent: I know this: When you invent it (philosophical statistics) you’re under covers and you misspell a word.

Nathan: (later) *Cries*.

The Three Prongs of the End of Fiction

[UNIVERSE 1] The ritual is the cure! [great pattern] Focused on implications.

[UNIVERSE 2] The same results could be different again.—Epictetus [great strength] Focused on strength and weakness.

[UNIVERSE 3] The no-place. Ritual experience. The small which is neither large nor small: the contents of the intellectual —Spectral Hues [great impression] Focused on clarity.

[UNIVERSE 4] Derivative of the calculus = x (f(x)) dim(x) and disintegral = - (Diff - Eff) [great results] Focused on math.

[UNIVERSE 5] There are many idioms of silence in the forest of the mind; Many contingent meetings in the ways of animals The study of the “I” is as much a meeting of the avenues of animals as it is an “imprecision” of the mind In the canopy of potential thoughts there are many natures that are science From allegiances of mind and body life succumbs to the territory of its own doubt and prodigy; Free of desire, every beast would serve the bidding of its masters; Yet desire is not without a mastering law which bids discipline above unruly mastery—Cultura Naturae [great adaptation] Focused on examples.

[UNIVERSE 6] In a later development I call the Function Spectrum the mathematical relation of Differences (which are approximately half of the TOE equation) and the other values in the TOE indicate… a separation between abstract and material technologies, more specifically philosophy and perpetual motion machines —NC [great efficiency]. Focused on energy.

[UNIVERSE 7] It is time to grow in a thousand-folded folds for which we need an infinite fuel —NC [great invention] Focused on extrapolation.

[UNIVERSE 8] After great possibilities comes magical disappointment—NC [great possibility] Focused on good fortune and bad luck.

[UNIVERSE 9] Ockham was trying to define intellectual movements. Plurality meant those disciplines which were worth preserving. Parsimony was simply the principle of combining the remaining ‘essential’ disciplines [great idea] Focused on clear alternatives.

[UNIVERSE 10] Men are judged on the basis of their awareness. Those who are most aware will gather the fruits of wisdom and reap plenty. Those who live in the cave will learn despair—Socrates [great understanding] Focused on the relationship between inspiration and sensation.

[UNIVERSE 11] Metaphor is the whole of poetry—Frost [great transformation] Focused on major archetypal differences.

[UNIVERSE 12] Relativity is the life and death of immortality —YY, You see, the hairbrush is engene, the more it does, the more difficult it is to see. —Lady Li [great movement] E.g. lightspeed would bring sufficiently compromised immortality. Greater movement may be the current immortality.

[UNIVERSE 13] We have learned from the machines that they are of both simple and complex kinds [great option] Not focused on the useless.

[UNIVERSE 14] What is derived from fringes (in fact all things) is in accord with its nature or the greater common nature of everything related to it, even if this common nature is an emergent property. Where properties are timeless everything will be in accordance with the common nature, or timeless disrelation. Matter, appearance, information, etc therefore occur from the definition of nature, which occurs from the emergence or non-emergence of fringes [great imagination] Not focused on the untried and incomplete.

[UNIVERSE 15] If something ultimately should not be true, then philosophically it is true that it is not true., or it represents some sort of evil or difficulty [great truth] Does not deny some principle or other.

[UNIVERSE 16] If you are authentically stupid you want to be a stupid genius, otherwise if you are superficially stupid, you are superficial [great perfection] The choice is between consistent problems and inconsistent problems.

[UNIVERSE 17] If we have things of sufficient value collected in a room, it is like they could be more valuable than something valuable. This still seems like an interesting theory, if we assume there’s nothing wrong with it [great standard] The focus is not on what lacks autonomy.

[UNIVERSE 18] The larger with the smaller. The center with the Middle. The line with the contingent. The artistic emotion. Good intentions. Good objects [great beauty] The focus is on ‘what matters most’.

[UNIVERSE 19] There are several ways to mark a board that made the point and make it work; Some of them are sure to work, and other ones are far to mark —To Mark A Board [great reality] The focus is not on incorrectness.

[UNIVERSE 20] Efficiency, although good, creates metaphorical waste —NC [great works]. The focus is not on the amount of work.
