Let me tell you about the benefits of joining iQuanta from my personal experience first of all the dual pedagogy with live and application class just builds you to be ready for the game. Moreover the community that iQuanta provides is actually really great and helps one keep on their toes and also make life long relations.

The instant doubt solving is also really amazing. I felt the faculty in itself were amazing specially for DILR and Quant. Then the IIM ABC batch gives you a mini mock experience. Moreover at last the special attention given by Jeet sir for marathons and QA250 series are actually really extensive and helps concrete your concepts.

For study material : I've personally opted for the newly launched books by iQuanta, I've always enjoyed a systematic approach and these books satisfies that. So I got a set of 12 books and I really enjoy how the material is divided. Although i do find the questions tough sometimes but I guess it’ll only better my preparation.

For mocks : iCAT mocks by iQuanta provides you a error tracking tool which maintains a record of every question in the CAT mock, this tool will help you reduce the time taken to evaluate one CAT mock by 3 times.

My experience with iQuanta so far has been excellent, with access to the experts via their Facebook group and 24x7 doubt solving feature, I am now much more confident about my math skills. Their online community provides peer support, access to the experts & 24/7 doubt solving, ensures substantiated attention. It is 10/10 recommended for CAT preparation.

There are many YouTube channels dedicated to CAT preparation. There are different channels for different things, some are good for general information, while some are good for actual preparation related content. Different set of students are likely to follow different channels. In my case, I strictly followed only those channels which served my area of interest. Since QA was my strong area, I could manage everything in it without much outside help. At times I did want to take a look at smart solutions, in such I cases I often referred to the following YouTube channels:

2. Cracku
3. Rodha
4. Bodhee Prep (Geometry content is very)
5. Unacademy
6. Takszila Shikshak (for conceptual understanding of arithmetic and algebra)

These are the six channels you should go to for QA, but be very selective about whom you follow or study from. You can browse all of these and if there is any particular teacher whose method and style you like, you can subscribe to that channel or even enrol for the course because that way you will benefit more. You will also notice that different teachers are good at teaching different topics. For instance, I found 2IIM’s algebra solutions quite smart, whereas Takshila’s arithmetic was good. Rakesh Sir’s videos on Bodhee Prep’s channel are quite good for high difficulty level geometry questions. Be wise in what you study from where

Coming to VARC, not many channels have done a good job, although almost all of them have uploaded good amount of VARC content, but for VARC there is no need to refer to any channel except Bodhee Prep. I stumbled upon their channel almost by fluke. But the VARC content on that channel is top class. They have a playlist for RC and Parajumbles, which are the two most important topics for CAT VARC. You can go through those playlists and also watch their “how to read RC passages” videos. It will change your outlook towards VARC, at least for me it did. I could score 99.95 in VARC only because of their VARC course. Different teachers appeal to different types of students. That’s why it is very important that we get a taste of a particular teacher’s teaching method and then enrol for his or her classes. YouTube is the right place to see how well a particular teacher teaches a particular subject.

Let’s come to LRDI now. Many people believe that QA and VARC needs to be taught but LRDI is not to be taught. Almost all teachers will teach in the same way, the only difference could be in the pace and style of delivery. I think this observation is correct. But as a learner, we all should prefer teachers who are methodical. When you follow the right method, you start thinking logically. You must train yourself to follow the right method. This was of great help to me. The other thing I noticed was that more than the teacher it is the quality of the LRDI sets that matters. You can’t have poor quality content. The following YouTube channels will provide you good quality LRDI content:

5. Bodhee Prep (The quantity is very low but the quality is quite good
6. Unacademy

There are many channels that are good for basic CAT related information and notification. You should subscribe to these only for CAT related gyaan, nothing else. Here are some channels:

These are some of the channels that I came across during my CAT preparation. Some of the content on these channels might have been removed or replaced. On the other hand, some new channels might have come up and become popular.

Some will give you lots of information on CAT exam, others will provide you lots of free questions and concepts. Some can be quite good for motivation. I've used it a lot, and I found some channels that are especially good.

Here are the ones I recommend:

1. Shweta Arora: This channel gives you a good overview of the CAT exam. You can learn about the exam structure, what kind of questions to expect, and find resources to help you prepare. They also talk about interview questions and how to build the skills you need for an MBA.

2. CATKing: If you need updates about forms and information on different colleges, this channel is useful. They keep you up-to-date with all the important stuff you need to know.

3. StudyBuzz: They also share cat prep strategies and methods for preparing as well as update the necessary information needed, so it’s a good idea to follow these channels to know different ways of preparation and see what suits you best.

Also, I would recommend to do not follow any information blindly as there can sometimes be mistakes, it is best to double check important information on official websites.

For the Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) section:

4. BodheePrep: They have a playlist by Brijesh Sir that is great for practicing reading comprehension and verbal ability questions. It is structured really well, which helps you build a strong foundation from the beginning as well as they have a pretty good practice material available on their channel as well as on their site. Its really one of the best materials I have come across for VARC, so I highly recommend trying it out.

Also, I am not aware of other channels for this section as it is better to stick to one or two good mentors especially in VARC. Each mentor has a different way of solving sets so using too many channels can get confusing, so find the ones that work best for you and stick with them.

When it comes to Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation (LRDI) & Quantitative Ability (QA), there are a low of channels available, you can always search topic wise sets for the topic you specifically want to practice, or just do mixed sets, these are a few channels that I mostly used during my preparation:

1. Iquanta: This channel covers all the important concepts and topics for LRDI and QA in the CAT exam. They also answer questions quickly if you need help.
2. Cracku: This is one of the best channels for CAT preparation, The founders of this channel are alumni of IIM Ahmedabad and they have a series of videos that cover everything you need to know for the exam. They also do live sessions on YouTube where they talk about different topics in LRDI, QA, and VARC.
3. StudyBuzz: Saurabh Sir teaches really well on this channel. They also keep you updated with important information about colleges and exam notifications.
4. 2iim: This channel has a lot of videos covering different topics related to CAT. Rajesh Sir is a great teacher, so you can definitely learn a lot from him.

There are a lot of YouTube channels that offer free content for CAT Preparation. I have used (and heard of) a few of them, and hence, would like to talk about the following (This is not ranking, it is just a list and are all of them the awesome, without being in any particular order): -

TOPMYTEST

TOPMYTEST is probably the latest entrant in CAT Preparation Industry and I personally believe that they are here to stay. I like them not because of the quality/quantity of their content, but because of the type of content they post.

One of my favorite series they have launched is ‘MBA Prep Talk.’ Personally, I believe that CAT is not only a knowledge game, but it is a strategy game too. And so far, they have covered quite a good deal of content in terms of strategy for CAT. Also, they are now launching some episodes which go beyond just CAT (e.g. about colleges, specializations) which I personally feel that nobody in this industry has done yet. Kudos!

The other thing is their CAT QA 1000 playlist, in which they have promised to give 1000 QA questions for free. I used around 250 of them and it was surely worth it. Vivek sir solve the questions so smoothly and generally, he plays very well with options and logic, which has added a good deal of efficiency in my QA.

Just before CAT 18, they launched a playlist of top 50 LRDI sets for CAT 18. I solved around 10-12 of them and they were seriously good.

I haven’t gone through any other type of content of theirs (talking about Free Content only), so I cannot comment on that.

2IIM

I’ll begin this head with by saying that “Rajesh sir is probably the most intelligent CAT mentor I have ever seen.” He talks so smoothly about so many doubts regarding CAT, and that adds so much of understanding about the exam.

This channel has a good deal of videos for Quant and LRDI. However, my favorite part is the kind of ‘general queries‘ that Rajesh Sir answer, like “Waitlisted by top b-schools, what should be strategy?” and many others like these.

Recently I have also followed Bharathwaj Uday (Verbal Faculty at 2IIM) on Facebook. He shares some amazing articles which one can read for VARC section of CAT.

Takshzila

I don’t know if they are on YouTube (now) or not, but they are surely on Learnyst. Their Quantitative Aptitude and Vocabulary used to be amazing (when I used them). They are the first YouTube team that I subscribed to, and it will be a sin if I don’t share their name.

Apart from these three, I would like to share the following names too: -

• Elites Grid
• Learning Roots (I have heard a lot of the content they shared for CAT18.)
• Bodhee Prep

One more name, which I will surely share, is iQuanta. Their Facebook group, titled ‘CAT Preparation – iQuanta’ is very helpful and it is a must join for every CAT aspirant.

Based on my experiences of CAT preparation from 2018 to 2019, there are many channels that you'll come across on YouTube. It's definitely confusing which one to choose. Here's my opinion-

1) StudyBUZZ

As I always say Saurabh sir made my Quants the best. So definitely StudyBUZZ is the channel you should go for your preparation. There are free videos as well for quants, verbal, GK , etc which you can refer at any time. The concepts is taught in such a way that you will love to do quants. Saurabh sir actually brings the interest of the students in Quants. It's definitely a channel you can totally depend on for your CAT preparation. Moreover, I depended on this channel for the latest updates on the exam, colleges and everything. So, it was like the best package for me and I followed it a lot.

2) Rodha

I also used to go through this channel sometimes because the concept of Number system is explained in a very good way.

I first use to complete a topic from StudyBUZZ, and then went to any other channel. This was worth. It helped me practice a lot with solutions there itself.

I scored a percentile of 98.6 in CAT'19..!!

Based on my own experience, I would recommend the following two channels:

1. 2IIm - Rajesh Sir is the most motivating individual. His emphasis on first principles and learning fundamentals will help you crack any question, in any exam.
2. Cracking - Again, Daylight Ma'am is a rocker. She will link concepts and formulas together and weave a web which is super easy to remember. Once you have some idea of extreme fundamentals, her approach will help you conquer the more tricky questions by understanding how to simplify what's asked.

I have done my research and spent a lot of time over TIME video lectures, IMS, HitBullsEye, BodheePrep, etc

While each has some pros and cons regarding the various sections, 2IIm and Cracku are definitely better than most at each of the 3 sections.

A number of channels are really good. I follow Cetking, studybuzz and cracku, which are all amazing in terms of the material and guidance they provide . However, I recently came across the channel 2iimcat on youtube, and I must say that they provide quality content rather than focusing simply on quantity. Firstly, the approach by Rajesh Balasubramanium is amazing and gives you that boost to enjoy your preparation. (I personally wish I had come across this channel before as it would have helped my preparation for CAT 2018.)

Secondly, what I really love about the channel is that they focus very strictly on the concepts behind solving quant and DI problems instead of just teaching us shortcuts. And I think CAT 2018 QA was an eye-opener regarding the importance of building core concepts. So on that front, they are definitely the best.

Thirdly, I have hardly seen a 2iimcat video which is too long or boring and even though this might not seem that important, I think it is crucial because it affects the way we perceive any information. Their videos are crisp and comprehensive and deliver the lessons really well. Also, I love how they used to post links to articles for RC practice everyday without fail. Following that in itself would prove to be a great practice for VARC section. And all articles chosen were informative as well.

Lastly, there is something in this channel which I really admire. This channel doesn’t push you to become just a 100 percentiler. I think everyone understands how difficult it can be for some of us to score well in such exams. 2iimcat content is designed to push a person to think, and to help them think. I remember, a week before CAT I was reading a post by one of their teachers, Bharathwaj ( not sure of the spelling), who spoke about his own journey to B-school and how he never performed too well in his mocks. I think this encouragement and motivation they provide to a student is unparalleled. Plus, they are really responsive to messages on FB as well. My query was answered in about 10 minutes and I got really helpful advice from them.

When you watch videos on the channel, you will definitely realize the difference between being a 100 percentiler and being a genuine problem solver. The former can ace a number of exams, but the latter is not only bound to make it into good schools or have a good job, but also a fruitful life.

Brevity is the soul of wit, so I'll keep this short. And hopefully real, like Rajesh Sir always does.

And that's the first thing that hooked me to this site. Amidst all the people who'll either extol you to the heavens and the ones who'll do their best to drag you down to the deeps, 2IIM CAT Preparation offers no holds barred honest critique and advice, always. They will always keep it real, clearing doubts in a timely fashion, replying readily to comments, debating topics for RC passages, offering sources to improve reading skills and in general never hesitating to guide you on topics that might have gotten you stuck. The best part is that their advice is practical and pragmatic to the extreme. CAT is all about skilful time management and proper prioritisation. It requires the right mindset as well as the mind itself. CAT doesn't really care how you came by the answer only that you got the correct one. You understand now, the necessity of what 2IIM CAT Prep offers you then- the rigor alone wont be enough; you’re going to need to learn to fight dirty.

With the benefit of hindsight I dont really know where I’ll end up in this year’s percentile charts. I fought like I said I would and didn’t panic when that Quants section loomed large. Whenever I got depressed while preparation watched his videos, I got confused in some problem/concept in Quants and DI LR watched his videos. You give me any break I can spend time watching his video. You know why? Because this cool man knows how to teach. You'll be amused to see his dedication towards teaching. See I don't wanna put any controversial comment. But name one institute which provides free access of deep learning through “YouTube”. CAT aspirants go and watch his videos. You'll have fun and actually will learn something. He's an alumnus of IIM Bangalore is case you want to know about his profile. He's the best teacher you can get for Quants and DI LR. Speaking about quants, CAT '19 aspirants you know CAT'18 came with a big quant surprise. It wasn't depending on formulas, it was depending on basics and concepts. I decided to do MBA right in third year of engineering, therefore first I went to the various coaching institution offering the course, but I have some time issues therefore I decided to go for online coaching. When I was searching on internet I came to know tens of institute offering the online course, ranging from few thousands to 30k. I was very much confused how the same course vary in prices so much. Although the price is not an issue major concern is about the content.

Therefore firstly as all of us do i start reading reviews on various platforms about N number of online course, after reading the reviews I very much convinced for 2iim online course as this was the only course which has only positive reviews not a single negative review, otherwise all other courses has some positive reviews and more negative reviews, and literally these negative reviews are written in very harsh language, like someone is writing I waste my money and so on.

As of now I was very impressed by 2iim reviews, I visited their website and sign up for free and saw their freely available videos on their app, and literally IAM not kidding the content was thoroughly explained from the basics, I was pretty much amazed by the content.

Then i came to know about their you tube channel, again i go through their videos and seriously RAJESH sir is awesome, how he thoroughly explain the solution of a particular problem, and most importantly his videos are not very long like other channels make videos of 1 hr to 2 hr, which no one can watch.

therefore I decided to go for 2iim online course for cat2019 I didn't buy it yet but IAM looking forward to it.

Well, YouTube videos are currently, no doubt, the best way to help you prepare for your CATs these days. In fact, they are very close to helping you with some free online coaching.

However, note that, apart from simply referring to the free videos, you have to have a very holistic approach in your preparations.

By that I mean, you can approach your preps not only with self study methods, but also join a very good online Telegram group where you have access to not only the best of the content on CATs, but also get FREE online coaching directly from a mentor who is also a part of the group.

The benefit of joining this group is that you get loads of free information, and also get to solve all of your doubts and problems directly whenever you have them.

Also, you have a lot of like-minded people to help you with discussions regarding the various topics on the same.

Having said that, you can even try referring to various popular books, which are rather good for helping you with lots of practice problems such as Arun Sharma, R. S. Agarwal, etc.

You can try as many books as you want.

But you need to remember one thing that only a lot of practice and dedication is finally going to help you with loads of success with the CATs.

So, apart from free YouTube videos, books, online groups, you must also remember to keep reading journals, newspapers, magazines, chronicles, etc. to help you with the English skills that would in turn help you loads with your Verbal ability section.

Also, another thing to note here is to keep solving lots of practice papers, or previous years’ papers to help you with upgrading your knowledge and letting you know where you stand in the competition.

It is indeed a great idea to have a proper timetable set, in which you can have 6 days of practice by referring to the resources mentioned above, like the videos and books. And then keeping one day only to solve a practice paper and then going through the answers to know where you went wrong and learning from your mistakes and how well your timing is.

CAT exams need a very structured approach, since it is a highly competitive and time based exam. Also, there is a negative marking system. Therefore, you not only need to be faster, but also absolutely correct and sure with the answers.

My suggestion would be to go through the exam pattern and syllabus before anything else.

And then create a good suitable timetable for yourself.

Later on try to join the above-mentioned Telegram group and keep watching the videos for more information on the various topics in addition to the books.

This way you should be able to get 100% success with scoring 99+ percentile in your CATs.

There were a lot of youtube channels I referred to during my preparations. But 2IIM CAT Preparation definitely stands out. I graduated in May this year and after that I have been preparing on my own.I didn’t go out too much and it’s very easy to lose your motivation in such a scenario. But this channel helped me alot through that. It was a big booster for me and my preparation. The videos I looked forward to the most were the ones in which Rajesh Balasubramanian Sir gave us encouragement not to give up or not to worry too much about CAT or admissions in general. He seem to have a fix for almost any problem an aspirant might face. I have used most of his suggestions and all of them have worked like magic. One which specifically stands out is how he asked us to approach reading. The reading for pleasure instead of reading with the pressure of remembering things made things alot easier for me.I cannot describe how much i have grown to respect sir and the channel. They provide topic based questions as well and their approach towards solving questions is truly amazing. They even link articles in their channel to boost your reading practice. It might seem like a small thing but even the motivational quotes they posted helped me keep my stress on check. I looked forward to their videos and posts, that’s how good the channel is. It felt like i have a source i can rely on even though there was no direct interaction. If you are preparing for CAT or thinking about it. I would strongly reccomend this particular channel. Why?

First of all any channel can teach shortcuts,but Iim Calcutta showed us in CAT 2018 that it can screw us if we don't get our basics right. 2iim channel or even for that matter even book written by @Rajesh Balasubramanian for Quants gives huge emphasis on getting the basics right.

Second and the more important reason is that the people who prepare and appear for CAT know it is not a cakewalk.Some drop the idea halfway, while others with more perseverance go through the preparation like swimming against the tide. I feel it is highly crucial that we stay motivated during this time. Just watching @Rajesh Balasubramanian teach with such a high enthusiasm and fevour will help us stay motivated .

There's one channel, highly underestimated but with content of high quality which many channel lags ( exception being 2iim cracku )

With teaching experience from 7+ years in pestigious institutes like Time and Career launcher, and has been 3times 99+ percentiler

Some of his methods are so different, which i bet one will never found in books and coaching classes

Being a student of TIME institute, i still prefer his video lectures over the TIME's online classes!

Note: Channels like elite grids seems promising but don't go for investing your money in it!

Many YouTube channels are there that provides free content for CAT Preparation. Personally I subscribed to below channels during my preparation and have found all of them equally useful:

1. cracku - I learnt many concepts of geometry from their videos and that really helped me.
2. 2iim - I purchased 2iim online course and thus I didn't subscribed to this channel for questions though they have a lot of good questions on QA and LR. I subscribed to this channel because of the general tips that Rajesh sir provides. I found them quite useful.
3. topmytest - The best channel when it comes to quality questions. They used to upload question sets and I used to test my knowledge by solving those questions. It gave me confidence when I was able to solve the question sets.

Apart from this, I used to solve a lot of questions from a website mbatious and they have a great deal of questions on all the topics.

Regardless of n number of youtube channels, when it comes to quality plus dedication, only a handful of them can be relied upon.

2iim is one of the finest youtube channel, with rajesh providing every insight and resource that a Cat aspirant would require to hinge himself to a beautiful percentile.

It's been 3 long years of service and never ever you would see this guy not giving his valuable advice and best material. And not to forget that he had bagged 100 percentile 4 times which enshines the experience he brings to the table.

The mode of language is english and overall is a very good youtube channel.
