The same equation in category theory…
Would translate as…
+1 category > all opposites.
This could be translated as
‘one more category is impossible' OR
‘coherence is complete'.
However, in perpetual motion keeping the +1 outside the opposition expresses that the mobile ball is s free agent.
Although this suggests it works differently, there is actually another type of perpetual motion that keeps the +1 contained.
The /2 appears to appear alone in cases where the ball's mass is larger. This may mean in effect that some perpetual motion machines (although not the majority) are expressing a complete set.
