I feel he is only interested in getting money from stones and tabeez that is why he gives prompt response to my friend who is his regular customer. Since I have shown no interest in buying any stuff that why Dr. Mittal has no interest in giving me any service.
Or probably he is so big astrologer now that he has no time for small clients like me.

I am not sure what you mean by "high end astrological" but I am a professional astrologer and I give readings regularly.

If they don't know much about astrology, I start by explaining a little bit. Then, I name all the planets and signs. I then describe their general personality according to astrology, helping them understand better their natural strengths and where they may need to be careful because they still have things to learn. We cover everything in their lives.

Then, we pause and start talking about where the planets are now. This is when we discuss the future. I talk about the potential influences of transiting planets. I suggest ideas and concepts that will hopefully help them get through any difficult periods. And once the reading is over, I gave them a recording of everything I said while talking to them. It generally takes anywhere from 45 minutes to 90 minutes depending upon the client in the chart.

For the record, I am a tropical western astrologer. I do not know how Sidereal Vedic astrologers do their readings..

I did take a Career reading with Kapiel Raaj , overall experience just about average , Not even Ok !!

Pro’s :

He does not hide anything in the process , will tell you everything transparently about the number of days , it will take to get the reading , which was about 30 Days , he is quite amusing, that’s his style of going about your chart. You may like his reading , if you are a novice.

He will send you a 8–10 min audio clip , which may or may not answer your specific questions.

In my case , he was able to cover all my basic questions.

His books are quite good for someone , who is just starting out in Astrology , very clear concepts.

Cons :

Takes no interest in responding to your after Consultation question , May tell you something , which does no even apply to your chart , as if he is not interested in the after consulatation questions. Mostly he won’t even respond to your questions !

In my case he told me something , which is not even there in my chart, further mails to him remain unanswered till date.

Ironically , after reading his book on “ Aspects of Planets” , I realized that he did a basic mistake with my chart about 1 major Aspect . Further Clarification mail regarding that mistake remain unanswered. I did receive a brief mail ,which was not even related to my chart.

I will Not suggest to go To KRS , if you are looking for a serious Consultation , lack of personal touch and no response makes the whole experience disappointing . It mostly his videos, which are quite entertaining and may teach you a lot about Astrology. I am personally a Fan of his videos , but its just that , he is really good at making those interesting videos , Not very patient with the Consultations , it seems some aspects are missed by him . But again this is my personal subjective view and may or may not be the same experience with other people.

There are other Astrologers out there like Pt. Sanjay Rath , the Guru Dakshina as i call it is not much different to KRS and there is more of a personal touch , which is perhaps missing with KRS .

** Note :- KRS may be busy with tons of mails , possibly the service delivery may improve over time , but Sadly as of now , experience is not very Satisfying.

They will constantly oppose your every predictions and tell certain astrological conditions to you. If you agree with them then they will oppose you and your predictions . They will put pressure on you to say that certain things will definitely happen. They are confused fellow and unsatisfied. It's better not to treat this type of clients. If you suggest some good things and they get good results. They will not say anything or feel anything good about it. However if they suffer bad things then they will blame you for that. I never faced such situations but some clients have some tendencies to blame astrologers or any consultant or any people. They also have scamming tendencies. That's why many astro Consultants and other consultants in medical, law also charge high fees and treat premium mentally healthy customers. These things are not happening only in the field of Astrology but also happening in other fields also like medical, nutrition and law . Influence - He has several Youtube videos on astrology. They are not in-depth neither complete series, but there is one video of 15–30mins on Career/Marriage/Navamsha/etc. and mini videos on planet-lord positions where each planet gets 5 lines in the entire video. He is not to blame as teaching astrology on Youtube is not possible, but he does a decent job.

Marketing - If you see any of his videos, the first 2–3mins go into him marketing his paid services, so in effect these videos are not to teach astrology but to show tid-bits and make the viewer/follower feel he is an astrologer with great information/insights/knowledge. Unfortunately he is not.

Knowledge - He is an amateur astrologer. He seems to have learnt from KN Rao maybe through a course at Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan and started paid services. He is like any other student of BVB astrology course. But he is honest and accepts that, doesnt fake that is know it all, rather always says he himself is a student of astrology. Best thing is he gets several astrologers as invitees who touch up briefly on various astrology aspects in sessions of 1–3hrs. He learns a lot from Arjun Pai and his methods. He accepts that he is a good student not sure about his teaching skills, the guy is honest.

Paid service -

• He charges $80–150 depending on type of consultation. No separate payment scale for Indians and they too have to pay the same amount in $. Does Kapiel care? No! its his livelihood, so whoever can pay, pays. There is nothing wrong here
• He maintains strictly that the seeker should write their questions and life problems in 1–5 lines only! That is impossible, a simple answer here used up paragraphs
• No contact - There is no phone number or quick support contact centre. Its only through email, completely online. Here is the catch. He takes only 7 paid services per week for a type of reading but says he gets 1000s of emails and hence cant reply/read all. That is definitely not cool for a payer, but he is also very honest and mentions all of that in his auto-reply emails, to not expect or contact before 30 days lest it will push your turn further down the queue
• He gives a 10min audio recording which also contains placement of planets and chart details which you wont understand as a layman but will eat up your time of audio. In effect, only few questions will be answered and if you have lots of questions, 2–3 lines per questions at max can be fitted in a 10min audio recording, so dont expect much. He predicts yes or no with reasons and then you wait to see if it comes true, pretty basic
• Any questions that you may have or any questions from your email he may have missed are not reverted or even acknowledged. So if you thought you will get all answers of all questions you’ve asked in a 10 min recording, you are wrong, but sadly you cant do anything as money is paid already and its completely contactless and faceless service where you cant catch anyone
• He gets several refund requests and probably due to this contactless service, many customers get abusive with him for not refunding and wrong predictions. He is honest about it and states it in his auto-reply emails. He also admits accurate prediction is what he is working at that needs sadhna/tap to get it right which he is working on, so no need to “use the F word if my assistant does not reply to your mails”

Regarding a friend’s paid service -

1. He paid around Rs. 7000 ($ equivalent)
2. Got the prediction in 30 days, 10 min audio recording
3. Many of his questions were not answered, probably Kapiel didnt go through his mail that had few paragraphs of explaining life situation and questions that he could not fit in 5 lines as required
4. His return mails asking for reading on all questions was not acknowledged or answered
5. Finally, Kapiel’s prediction didnt come true - he said “I dont say it often to not raise hopes in people, but this problem of yours will definitely get solved due to planet xyz”. Well that didnt happen. Out of the things Kapiel said, many were unrelated to questions or type of report and even those were wrong barring one that was correct which were told in such general terms that it would be true for most people “your parents struggled and sacrificed a lot for you”, I think its a generalization for Indian parents - all do that
6. Refund mail was not acknowledged or replied to

He is an entertaining astrologer for sure, honest in his dealings yes, but he is doing this for a living, so dont think of him as some great astrologer with immense knowledge and accurate predictions. If someone is a student of astrology, they will know this through his videos. But for laymen, he is good for the purpose of getting to know the basics of astrology and dispel myths of astrology, probably not for consultation.

Yes I took consultation from a self-styled celebrity astrologer. He didn’t answer my questions, he just said what he knew coupled with logical reasoning. He charges very high. Rs. 2k for written analysis without details. Extra Rs. 500/- for 15 min phone talk. In the written analysis which costed me 2k he didn’t clear any doubts, was not open for follow-up questions nor did he answer the questions posed by me. Even after repeatedly asking him to answer my questions, he was charging more money, which I refused. In the 500 rupees phone talk for 15 mins, we actually talked for 10 mins and he cut the phone saying time over and the phone gets automatically cut. It was so hilarious to know that phone calls do get cut with the proportionate of money we have paid. If the astrologer does not have knowledge it’s ok, but they should not claim that they know everything and can answer every question. There are such type of money-minded businessmen, who call themselves as astrologers and spiritualists.
