It can finally be the film the Indian science fiction genre deserve
Accept it Enthiran was a “perfect getaway films” at its time but this time it needs to hit big and I mean big
So let's look from the teaser stills to see how far the Sci-Fi genre has progressed in the last 8 years
Okay the film will revolve a lot around birds(You already know that) but still
In the movie this might be the first scene if they want to play it smartly or before interval to engage the audience

Okay the film will revolve a lot around birds(You already know that) but still
In the movie this might be the first scene if they want to play it smartly or before interval to engage the audience
Beside you can see a man inside the tower with his goggles dropping so definitely a place where villain started becoming supervillain because vice versa don't sound so good
The man phone has been sucked up into the sky but he knows where to look
There can also be a chance that there is someone in the front of traffic or a accident maybe as evident from the scene that whole city is in chaos according to news 7 - my favorite news channel and how many plugs are above the TV
The news channel doesn't have Time slot, date and brand placement so it is completely opposite of how our news channels looks today
So if you look closely there is a Vivo hoarding but that's common so yeah Don't buy Vivo nex or it's gonna get sucked up
Buy the new IPhone so you can die from heart attack and not from the big bird
People falling . Nope can't explain this one but the workers getting a nice view In the previous scene they all were falling down from the top view so they might be the one who still have their phone in the pocket and they got sucked up along with it
Brand placement ✔
Hey Captain America Look at the top right corner . He said he can do this all day
This scene is from the football ground showed later in the teaser as the similar scene was in “The making of” movie released much earlier
So people might be scared from the big bird which is maybe looking to dash onto them *Hold that thought*
I still don't know about the role of Amy in movie but as you can see from the scene. She might be playing as Dr Vashikaran friend first and than a kickass agent maybe as you can see She is wearing and agent kind dress
So all the phones in the city are attracted toward a field or tower and all of them are in this Guy's bedroom
Also the place where he is seen sleeping contain white pillows and it is different from the one where he wakes up so it might be a dream or can two separate scenes I think
Also sleeping with a bracelet on hand and waking with none Yup! a dream or a separate scene
Not looking good ending for him
This scene took my breathe away and made me go like *woah* so a big Rajiv bhatia made entirely of phones in front of Dr Vashikaran
Yes That's how you make an intro
That's creativity but it might be inspired from some other movie but it still show how much is our potential
Ah! my future palace but here it is a dialogue which quote “This is beyond science” Well Buddy you are in Sci-Fi movie so yeah it's beyond science
Also the next pic can't be a continue scene because it's looking cloudy but in the next pic you can see sunrays
The guy probably a minister is looking for a general solution and see what our doctor says
“Chitti the Robot” Ah you have learned nothing doctor Remember the last time you try to unleash him some thousand people died and the army and government suffered a huge loss but definitely not the producers so “Good going”
Now this is the scene which create continuity error How!
See in Robot after time lapse the year 2030 was showed in which Chiiti was lying but not in the same posture as you can see chiti's head is below the hands in previous movie but different in this one
So Is the movie based after 2030 or Chiiti is again going to same place after the mess is sorted or they forget about the post credit scene Let's see in movie
Yeah! Cool outfit but he shouldn't be going against the traffic direction
Yeah it's a funny scene Oh! You don't think so Look at the boy and girl reaction. They have been waiting for this there entire life
A big bird claw
That's a win for us in VFX
This scene again shows the potential of our film makers and how much creative they can be
“Gonna eat chitti” “Gonna eat chitti” “Gonna eat chitti"
Again the football ground scene but the people behind doesn't look excited Ah they don't know what's coming especially the one who's clicking selfie
Akshay will be like “ Tujhe samjh ni ayya na tu suspense mai hi mar”
Translation - “ You don't get it okay you die in suspense only”
Now this scene will say a lot about movie
The big bird let's call it flappy is inside the protective barrier created by
So whether he is evil chiti or not is difficult to say or it might be two separate scene but the flappy attacking both the version of chiti will seem not loyal so the later might not even be evil chiti but maybe an updated version
Remember it's 2.0
Remember where I told you to hold your breath still where flappy is attacking the people Well that might be a different scene and anymore footage would have spoiled a bigger version of chiti or something else and that's why that scene is shown
Destroying a military car in Andhra Pradesh “Not cool” well military is still gonna try to save the place from flappy and angry Akshay Kumar
Wish its didn't end up like the last time
A still from “The making of “ so yeah Dr Richard will be in the stadium possibly trying to kill a bigger audience to awaken the system or even because his team lost Who knows but god Is he looking cool
Our film making industry have a come a long way as now It is portraying even Villain in the anti-hero genre to make him relatable
Bhalla dev was a success . Will Akshay be able to do the same Hope he does
Again in the stadium with the crowd still inside so yeah there will be duel and the costume looks amazing
I really want to we how the story unfold
Well if you are wearing that kind of helmet wile holding a gun You will fly and not in the good way
They are probably police who's present at the right place at the wrong time
Now this scene really confuses me as he is fighting robot's made up from phones probably at the side of Dr Richard but then Why would he will be the evil one
Hope this time he is not shooting the good guys who try stopping him from kidnapping a girl
Still sad for Abhishek though
That's freaking ultrons man but why are people still sitting in the stadium
I mean seriously Why?
This scene was freaking awesome and tell us lot about the character and he is not looking to do some good
Well he said “Kuku” so there might be a sacred games crossover and we might see some magic
So to sum it up it's looking good. I really hope the story should be awesome because 10 year down the line we wouldn't care about the VFX much but about the story and that's where our Sci-Fi genre lack, It give good VFX but is trolled for the story just because of some people fron basher group .
See my previous answers to know about the basher group
And yes stop this shit
The reaction videos have been flooded and it is nothing but just pure inferiority complex because we want to know how foreigners will think about it *nostalgia*
Let me tell you something which will shake you to the core
They don't really care about you . They want traffic . You are traffic for their content and not anything else
And instead watch some meaningful content like that of Amit Bhadana *LOL*
I don't write for upvotes but it would be appreciated and at least led me to believe that my writing hasn't gone in vain
Thank you

To be honest i didn't like the teaser . Few logical questions are arising after seeing it.
But i found few interesting details in the teaser with reveals the plot.
See the dressing of Chitti in intro scene
Then we can see the Bird chasing him
And the symbolism of Red eye is used to show the transformation. Blue turns into red.
Which we can see in the second half of the teaser. His dressing

This shows he is not only Hero but also the Villan of the film as we seen in Enthiran or Robot.

Honey!
2.0 teaser is just out today:-
And it looks great
I found VFX quite appealling in these shots if not perfect.
A great work by Shankar sir and his team. I expect this movie is gonna earn more than 1000cr.
And also i’ve seen many people complaining about VFX quality and film is being over budgeted
I want to say that don’t compare an indian movie with hollywood. Indian cinema is on its developing stage whereas hollywood industry is already on its peak , somewhere they also started.
Compare 2.0 VFX with other indian movie like Bahubali series , Ra. One , Kriss 3 , robot, I , etc. If you compare it with

Compare 2.0 VFX with other indian movie like Bahubali series , Ra. One , Kriss 3 , robot, I , etc. If you compare it with other indian movie, 2.0 is absolute winner.
My concern is not graphics but logic…indian movies have many physics defying action sequence even after spending huge money on vfx. I expect shankar sir will take care of it this time.
So i was very excited for this movie.
Why?
Because big studios like The Third Floor, Double Negative and Legacy Effects worked on this. Additionally i saw that the movie was shot in 3D. After all the budget was 543 crore which is a no joke.
Finally teaser got released.
My first reaction was a bit of both sadness and anger. From the first frame you could get that feeling of cheap matte painting forcefully framed in the movie which genuinely looked liked a 10 year old movie.
Still i got hopes.

Still i got hopes.
Next i saw the cell phones were pulled by some unknown entity. I think no one told Shankar that cellphones are non-magnetic in nature. He is well experienced filmmaker if i am not wrong. Then why?
Anyway, it turns into some shitbird and attacks everyone. Though the bird looked cool but everything else looks utter piece of crap. Literally!
Can someone tell me that if the bird is made of phone which it is then how the phones took shape of eagle's eye and it's beak. Shankar didn't has an eye for detail.
I mean after spending 543 crore if you can't get a decent Visual Effects then what's the point of taking a grand project. Even Baahubali 1 and 2 had a combined budget of 400 crores but it looked impressive but what is this? Do we look like fools? At that point of time I was waiting for the teaser to end. Story wise it looks a 5 year old wrote a moral story for any school homework. I get it that even Hollywood has a bad story line in most of the sci-fi movies but come on at least people should get convinced that you spent 543 crore on this film. There has to be something.
What the actual fuck? Do you believe it’s 500 crore plus film?
What Amy Jackson doing in the film? Is she a good actress? No, the director maybe wanted someone to shake their ass in the entire film like what she did in I movie. There are so many talented actresses and he chose her. Wow!
Few people may argue that in order to enjoy the teaser watch it in 3D. Seems like only you know the technology, we are a bunch of loonies. Right? If a movie is shot in 3D, it is also converted to 2D format because not everywhere you can experience 3D so there’s a version to be made for 2D screens. Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Gravity, Avatar was shot entirely in 3D but can you feel any difference while seeing it on a regular 2D screen except the stereoscopic depth effect? I bet you can't. Even Transformers: The Last Knight was filmed with IMAX 3D cameras which is first of a kind to fuse two kinds of technology together. Can you tell the difference in Youtube? Remember that 3D technology is there to enhance the experience by giving a sense of depth. 3D can’t enhance the quality of visual imagery.
I personally don't know but if 543 crore is still less then god knows how much more money they need to make a decent movie.
From a technical perspective: The Visual Effect guys may have made a script which simulates a swarm of particles and with the help of scripting it can morph into a bird or literally anything which is undeniably good but I am afraid they will carry forward the movie with that thing only. No good story and acting performances. If the execution is good, I am OK with it.
Before hitting me with any nonsensical comment I am making myself clear that i love Rajnikanth’s acting. He has the charm. Remember Sivaji? My favorite film of him. Even i liked Shankar’s work on I. I am not comparing directly to any Hollywood blockbusters but sorry it doesn't looks like a 500 crore movie to me. I am not convinced by that.
Then again you will say Avatar and Transformers were made with budget of 2000 crores and all. Ok leave the VFX part. But there is something also called Execution and Quality in the scenes. Not some fake ass look.
Remember John Wick? It was made with a budget of 30 Million USD which is half of 2.0’s budget. How much? 216 crores. And John Wick Chapter 2 which had a budget of 40 million USD which is 288 crores in Rupees.
Dont tell me that this movie is VFX heavy. Even John Wick’s special effects looked more convincing than this shitshow. The colors pallete, editing, action choreography and everything justified the budget and the character.
Maybe they prove me wrong in the next trailer but as of now even 100 crore movie looks the same.
Disappointed.
I once met a man who drove a modest Toyota Corolla, wore beat-up sneakers, and looked like he’d lived the same way for decades. But what really caught my attention was when he casually mentioned he was retired at 45 with more money than he could ever spend. I couldn’t help but ask, “How did you do it?”
He smiled and said, “The secret to saving money is knowing where to look for the waste—and car insurance is one of the easiest places to start.”
He then walked me through a few strategies that I’d never thought of before. Here’s what I learned:

He smiled and said, “The secret to saving money is knowing where to look for the waste—and car insurance is one of the easiest places to start.”
He then walked me through a few strategies that I’d never thought of before. Here’s what I learned:
1. Make insurance companies fight for your business
Most people just stick with the same insurer year after year, but that’s what the companies are counting on. This guy used tools like Coverage.com to compare rates every time his policy came up for renewal. It only took him a few minutes, and he said he’d saved hundreds each year by letting insurers compete for his business.
Click here to try Coverage.com and see how much you could save today.
2. Take advantage of safe driver programs
He mentioned that some companies reward good drivers with significant discounts. By signing up for a program that tracked his driving habits for just a month, he qualified for a lower rate. “It’s like a test where you already know the answers,” he joked.
You can find a list of insurance companies offering safe driver discounts here and start saving on your next policy.
3. Bundle your policies
He bundled his auto insurance with his home insurance and saved big. “Most companies will give you a discount if you combine your policies with them. It’s easy money,” he explained. If you haven’t bundled yet, ask your insurer what discounts they offer—or look for new ones that do.
4. Drop coverage you don’t need
He also emphasized reassessing coverage every year. If your car isn’t worth much anymore, it might be time to drop collision or comprehensive coverage. “You shouldn’t be paying more to insure the car than it’s worth,” he said.
5. Look for hidden fees or overpriced add-ons
One of his final tips was to avoid extras like roadside assistance, which can often be purchased elsewhere for less. “It’s those little fees you don’t think about that add up,” he warned.
The Secret? Stop Overpaying
The real “secret” isn’t about cutting corners—it’s about being proactive. Car insurance companies are counting on you to stay complacent, but with tools like Coverage.com and a little effort, you can make sure you’re only paying for what you need—and saving hundreds in the process.
If you’re ready to start saving, take a moment to:
- Compare rates now on Coverage.com
- Check if you qualify for safe driver discounts
- Reevaluate your coverage today
Saving money on auto insurance doesn’t have to be complicated—you just have to know where to look. If you'd like to support my work, feel free to use the links in this post—they help me continue creating valuable content.
So,the most awaited and hyped movie of the year i.e 2.0 has released it's trailer .
Frankly speaking ,the trailer isn't that impressive as it has to be !
VFX
The VFX again didn't went upto the mark .At budget of ₹500 crore they could have used better VFX .
Story and Direction
Well ,it's a shankar movie and he hasn't given a single flop . So, you can judge his directing skills from this . The story part is quite cryptic . The mobile phones flying all around and then the flying eagle has made the made the story interesting but it will only be revealed when we get to watch the movie.

It's rajnikanth . So, the acting would be flawless .
One thing I have noticed in the trailer that they have focused more on rajnikanth . If you want to make a movie cool and blockbuster then the villain should get the same priority as the lead . The best example is “The dark Knight”
Finally , let's see the movie and find out out whether it was worth getting this much hype.

I have just watched the teaser.
My thoughts , with money you can buy technology, make great VFX. But a great movie is not which has multitude of actions. A great movie is which have great dialogues, effective screenplay and above all, a good director, and actors.
Nothing to take away from Shankar, but the truth is, south indian directors have this tendency to make the protagonist look like some kind of god. The unnecessary swag-style the actor carries only make them look some kind of joker.
I have watched Bahubali 1 and did not even think about watching Bahubali 2. Same thing I have watched Robot

Here’s the thing: I wish I had known these money secrets sooner. They’ve helped so many people save hundreds, secure their family’s future, and grow their bank accounts—myself included.
And honestly? Putting them to use was way easier than I expected. I bet you can knock out at least three or four of these right now—yes, even from your phone.
Don’t wait like I did. Go ahead and start using these money secrets today!
1. Cancel Your Car Insurance
You might not even realize it, but your car insurance company is probably overcharging you. In fact, they’re kind of counting on you not noticing. Luckily,

1. Cancel Your Car Insurance
You might not even realize it, but your car insurance company is probably overcharging you. In fact, they’re kind of counting on you not noticing. Luckily, this problem is easy to fix.
Don’t waste your time browsing insurance sites for a better deal. A company called Insurify shows you all your options at once — people who do this save up to $996 per year.
If you tell them a bit about yourself and your vehicle, they’ll send you personalized quotes so you can compare them and find the best one for you.
Tired of overpaying for car insurance? It takes just five minutes to compare your options with Insurify and see how much you could save on car insurance.
2. Ask This Company to Get a Big Chunk of Your Debt Forgiven
A company called National Debt Relief could convince your lenders to simply get rid of a big chunk of what you owe. No bankruptcy, no loans — you don’t even need to have good credit.
If you owe at least $10,000 in unsecured debt (credit card debt, personal loans, medical bills, etc.), National Debt Relief’s experts will build you a monthly payment plan. As your payments add up, they negotiate with your creditors to reduce the amount you owe. You then pay off the rest in a lump sum.
On average, you could become debt-free within 24 to 48 months. It takes less than a minute to sign up and see how much debt you could get rid of.
3. You Can Become a Real Estate Investor for as Little as $10
Take a look at some of the world’s wealthiest people. What do they have in common? Many invest in large private real estate deals. And here’s the thing: There’s no reason you can’t, too — for as little as $10.
An investment called the Fundrise Flagship Fund lets you get started in the world of real estate by giving you access to a low-cost, diversified portfolio of private real estate. The best part? You don’t have to be the landlord. The Flagship Fund does all the heavy lifting.
With an initial investment as low as $10, your money will be invested in the Fund, which already owns more than $1 billion worth of real estate around the country, from apartment complexes to the thriving housing rental market to larger last-mile e-commerce logistics centers.
Want to invest more? Many investors choose to invest $1,000 or more. This is a Fund that can fit any type of investor’s needs. Once invested, you can track your performance from your phone and watch as properties are acquired, improved, and operated. As properties generate cash flow, you could earn money through quarterly dividend payments. And over time, you could earn money off the potential appreciation of the properties.
So if you want to get started in the world of real-estate investing, it takes just a few minutes to sign up and create an account with the Fundrise Flagship Fund.
This is a paid advertisement. Carefully consider the investment objectives, risks, charges and expenses of the Fundrise Real Estate Fund before investing. This and other information can be found in the Fund’s prospectus. Read them carefully before investing.
4. Earn Up to $50 this Month By Answering Survey Questions About the News — It’s Anonymous
The news is a heated subject these days. It’s hard not to have an opinion on it.
Good news: A website called YouGov will pay you up to $50 or more this month just to answer survey questions about politics, the economy, and other hot news topics.
Plus, it’s totally anonymous, so no one will judge you for that hot take.
When you take a quick survey (some are less than three minutes), you’ll earn points you can exchange for up to $50 in cash or gift cards to places like Walmart and Amazon. Plus, Penny Hoarder readers will get an extra 500 points for registering and another 1,000 points after completing their first survey.
It takes just a few minutes to sign up and take your first survey, and you’ll receive your points immediately.
5. Stop Paying Your Credit Card Company
If you have credit card debt, you know. The anxiety, the interest rates, the fear you’re never going to escape… but a website called AmONE wants to help.
If you owe your credit card companies $100,000 or less, AmONE will match you with a low-interest loan you can use to pay off every single one of your balances.
The benefit? You’ll be left with one bill to pay each month. And because personal loans have lower interest rates (AmONE rates start at 6.40% APR), you’ll get out of debt that much faster.
It takes less than a minute and just 10 questions to see what loans you qualify for.
6. Earn Up to $225 This Month Playing Games on Your Phone
Ever wish you could get paid just for messing around with your phone? Guess what? You totally can.
Swagbucks will pay you up to $225 a month just for installing and playing games on your phone. That’s it. Just download the app, pick the games you like, and get to playing. Remember this scene from Megamind?
This is exactly the same scene copied in 2.0
In Megamind, Megamind, the main protagonist, in the climax of the film, virtually appears in front of Titan, to what appears to be his face which actually are his bots in the shape of his face.
In 2.0, Akshay Kumar can be seen doing the same thing, the same camera angle, but instead of bots, it's flying mobile phones.
Really disappointed.
Remember this scene from Megamind?

I used to think pet insurance was unnecessary (a luxury, not a necessity). That changed after my friend’s dog Bear got sick out of nowhere. What started as minor symptoms turned into an emergency vet visit, followed by a cancer diagnosis, and $20,000 in medical expenses. In that moment, I realized how quickly things can spiral when it comes to a pet’s health.
Fortunately, my friend found a pet insurance policy from this website so Bear got the treatment he needed without my friend having to make impossible financial decisions.

If you’re wondering whether pet insurance is worth it, here are a few lessons I took away from Bear’s experience:
1. Pet insurance lets you focus on care—not costs
When Bear was diagnosed, my friend didn’t have to weigh his bank account against Bear’s well-being. Pet insurance covered the bulk of the costs, making it possible to move forward with aggressive treatment options right away. It’s peace of mind when you need it most.
Look here to see pet insurance options that cover both emergencies and serious conditions like cancer.
2. It helps with more than just major illnesses
While Bear’s case was extreme, many plans also cover routine care like annual checkups, vaccinations, and preventative treatments. These smaller costs add up, and having insurance means less strain on your wallet over time.
Explore policies with coverage for routine care here.
3. Vet bills can escalate quickly—even for small issues
Before Bear’s diagnosis, the initial tests and scans alone cost thousands. It was a reminder of how even something that seems minor can rack up a big bill fast. Pet insurance ensures you’re not caught off guard when costs pile up.
4. Insurance gives you flexibility and peace of mind
Without insurance, my friend would have faced tough decisions about Bear’s treatment—choices no pet owner should have to make. With a good policy, you can focus on what’s best for your pet instead of stressing over finances.
5. It’s a smart investment for any pet owner
Whether you’re caring for a young, healthy pup or an aging senior pet, insurance can be tailored to your pet’s specific needs. It’s not just about saving money—it’s about being ready for whatever life throws your way.
So, is pet insurance a good idea? Based on what I’ve seen, absolutely. It’s not just a financial safety net; it’s a way to ensure your pet gets the best possible care, no matter the circumstances.
If you’re thinking about it, take a few minutes to explore your options. This tool makes it easy to compare plans and find the right coverage for your furry friend. It could be one of the smartest decisions you make for your pet—and your peace of mind.

Still there are thousands of movies in Indian cineam that are usually entertaining ones and I guess harldy Indian cinema have more than 10–15 movies based on sci and fiction. Maybe some youth prefer sci and fiction movies but still many audiences go for same kind of movies as they were in past.
I guess this movie is one of the most expensive movie in Indian cinema history but all I see this movie is super duper flop. I am not here to offend you reader but honestly I don’t think this movie gonna work. Still it takes some time to digest this kinda of movie by Indian Audiences. Personally I am big fan of Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth. I loved watching there movies but I don’t like this movie teaser. I might be wrong by doing early ju...
Lol. Don't judge a movie by its teaser or trailer. Firstly, I wanna say this movie was shot in 3D camera and then, compressed to 2D. That's why VFX looks bad in YouTube. Now, before ranting about Avatar or Infinity War's 3D being compressed, just find out the budget of those films. Their budget is even higher.
Many haters went to troll the VFX in theatre. But after 3 hours, they got back trolled. The VFX, the visuals, the graphics in 3D were on par with Hollywood movies.

Yes, the story was predictable, but the audience was impressed. If we start encouraging these types of films now, only then other directors will come up with new ideas. Remember, Taj Mahal wasn't built in a day.
2.0:
I think the year 2018 would begin with a grand spectacle in ‘2.0’, the Science-Fiction movie, directed by Shankar!
Starring, the superstar Rajnikanth in a double role (Dr.Vaseegaran and Chitti, the Robot), bollywood craze Akshay Kumar and sizzling British actress Amy Jackson, ‘2.0’ is a sequel to ‘Enthiran’ (Robot), which was also directed by the same director!
Though we've seen Akshay and Amy together in the Bollywood comedy flick, ‘Singh Is Blingg’ (a Prabhudeva film), Rajni and Akshay will be sharing the screen space for the first time in this tri-lingual action film for Shankar!

It'll be interesting to see Akshay Kumar in a new role, as he's playing the antagonist here!
Hope the director has added a bit of humor, as both Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar are known for their impeccable comic timing!
Thank you!

Although some scenes from the trailer seem to be inspired from the first Avengers movie, I feel the background score and the charisma of the deadly duo - Rajnikanth and Akshay will take it to a new level. The way that giant eagle soars between the building seems like a copy paste of how those “giant flying whale alien thing”s came out of the portal in the Avengers. Still it looks fresh.
I am not a hardcore fan of either of the actors but I kinda dislike it when people look down on our Indian movies and feel they are just bad rip offs.

Robo is one of the best movies created by Shankar. Taking a sequel to it with the name 2.0 gives somewhat interesting to look for the first day. There was some concerns and ideas related to the upcoming movie:
1: Where is Aishwarya? - I doubt having 2 heroines in the movie may effect the Herione side cinematography. So in this sequel they have subsided the role of Aish and Upgraded the Amy Jackson Role.
2: What about the 500Cr spent on Graphics? - Having seeing the trailer the Visual Graphics have been average. I think the graphics spent on the Bahubali may seem somewhat realistic than 2.0. (No

3: My Story Relating to Robo 2.0:
Robo 2.0 film starts with a Revenge-type story with Akshay Kumar who used to be a Doctor but was rejected due to some Unknown reasons. ( Watch the movie ) . Due to that he decided to give up on his life . Climbs on top of the Electrical Pole and commits suicide. Due to some electrical Fluctuations and some experiments done on him , he becomes the villian role who plays the eagle shaped villian.
Then Akshay Kumar takes revenge on the person by which he commits suicide, by taking all the mobiles from the public which can be seen in the trailer and takes on revenge. Then he misuses his power by which Dr. Vasikaran opts Chitti The Robo to stop from his villanious acts. Then there will be an Full out battle between them and At last hero gains over villain. I think this would be story of Robo 2.0.
If this Story has any coincidence with the original story , then its just my suoer imaginative powers. Hahahahaaahahahaha.
Thanks for Reading ……………………………………………….
I am having a very opposing thought than the other Indian after watching this trailer. First of all, I am very glad and really admire the trailer. Even though the movie is stupid, let's assume this is the shittest movie. However, the Efforts in itself deserve a full mark. At least they are trying to break the barrier of Bollywood cinema by not making a typical masala movie.
Those who are comparing the VFX and CGI with the Hollywood standard then that is so dumb of you people and I am pity on you guys really. Don't compare this film with Avatar, Pacific Rim, Avengers or any other Hollywood movie

Those who are comparing the VFX and CGI with the Hollywood standard then that is so dumb of you people and I am pity on you guys really. Don't compare this film with Avatar, Pacific Rim, Avengers or any other Hollywood movies. Just see their budget they are 3–4 times higher or even more than that of 2.0. Currently, Indian Film Industry is not at a level to compete against Hollywood and the reason is simple they have more money, better technologies and best people of the planet who are making the VFX and in recent years our film industry has made big jumps by making high budget films like Bahubali Series, and currently 2.0 which includes a lot of VFX. We have just started making these kinds of films, Hollywood has been doing these for years. So there should be no point of comparison.
I am not saying that there weren't any kind of mistakes in the trailer but it's okay, even films like Avatar was having many mistakes in it. There is not a big deal in making mistakes. I getting a hope from this movie that this may not possibly be the greatest story ever told, the most mind binding sci-fi it may not be that. But I am happy people are taking chances and thanks to the producer, Rajni sir, and Akshay sir to put so much of effort in the movie. I don’t know whether the movie will break records on the box office or fall flat. But one thing I know for sure Glorious Days of Indian Film Industry is Coming.
If you haven’t known me this is Jatin Joshi
and you made my day.
So signing off for now.
To be honest it was awesome , I was pretty shocked to see how Indian film Industry is changing day by day.

The entire trailer was pretty good ,but some scenes like this gave me goosebumps
The designing of suits are very well done for Akshay Sir and Rajni Sir .
And even the punchlines are pretty good
“ I set your screens on Fire “
I am not saying that there weren't any kind of mistakes in the trailer but it's okay ,even films like Titanic was having many mistakes in it .There is not a big deal in making mistakes .
I hope that 2.0 would become the biggest Blockbuster of the year as they have spent a lot of effort ,time and money in making this film.
At last I will just say that Be Positive “The Glorious Days of Indian Film Industry is Coming “ .
It is one of most anticipated movies of all time. So many people will give it a shot atleast once.
Vfx though one of India ‘s best is actually average. My prediction is , it would be amazing at some places but at some places in the film , it would be poor.
Storywise, what could be seen from the trailer is average. Crow man ( Akshay ) looks like bird lover and thinks that mobile phones are harmful so he is hack everyone's phone and make a robot and terrorise the country. To stop it , Chitti is brought back. Finally, chitti defeats crow man but also the preaching of harmful effects of mobile phone

I gonna wait for 2 days , see all the reviews and then decide whether to watch it or not.
I loved the trailer, and I won’t talk much about the graphics not being of Hollywood level because the movie has been made at a fraction of the budget of Western movies. We do not have so many markets, so the budget has to be less. Still, the fact they could give such effects as these makes me proud.
There are flaws even in Holly flicks, but we can nitpick or appreciate such movies which are different and try to break new grounds in Indian cinema.
What I disliked is that:
There is no idea given on what the story is about.

The BGM towards the end of the trailer should have been more rousing.
Other than these things, the trailer was very good. I hope that the second trailer would have these.
There is a lobby in India that likes to keep movies as they are, boy meets girl, sings daru - sharu kudiye baliye songs and do utter nonsense. Cheap stuffs, can be made like factory productions. Once the Indian audience gets used to 2.0 like stuffs, the lobby has to raise the bar. So they pay people to trash such movies. But 2.0 will be a mega blockbuster with 1,000 crore collection, mark my words. The climax of Robot is still untouched, 8 years on. No other Indian sci-fi movie has been able to replicate such a feat. It had innovative effects.

So finally after so many delays at least teaser trailer of 2.0 released. And as soon as i got notification i rushed to youtube and watched it.
Here is my opinion on this teaser .
First lets talk about what looked appealing in trailer.
- The logo animation (WOW)
2. That scene, when akshay kumar got covered by flying birds.
3. That colorful and awesome claw chasing scene.
4. And this

6. One of my favorite.
All those scenes are sharp, smooth animation, rich textured images i mean all was looking good on my monitor. and would look awesome on Big Silver Screen.

Now lets talk about what was not upto mark/childish/worst/not good whatever term you pick for following scenes.
- This : its ok to show names but like this, i mean seriously. Needed ?
2. Now this : looking like someone is moving a big passive doll bird in front of a building, was looking to still, childish.
3. What the (lovely) clip this was. I am sure you could not shut your laughing at that time. Yeah got you.
4. Why in world would anyone do this ? can someone explain me ?
5. What a (Robotic) expressionless face.
6. Now this. Seriously ??
That’s it.
I am not making joke of anyone here even i am a big fan of akshay kumar and rajnikant and shankar. And when i watched Robot in that movie there was too many VFX issues they were purely childish not up to mark. But when i got to know that that team is making 2.0 i was happy that someone correcting their mistakes done in previous movie and making a good market of that type of movies in india based on India. But most of scene still lack of proper VFX, i am talking about smoothness of animation/effect/vfx.
Lets wait for release of theatrical trailer and see what happens next.
Well I think vfx and graphics was awesome especially when eagle so called Akshay Kumar really awestrucked me while watching teaser.
I think my expectations would be more when compared to Enthiran the Robot .
I think Shankar’s graphics and his outlooks of film has more advantage on it.
I expect Rajini must be more curious to know the effects of this film.
Expecting more from the audiences and elements matters alot .
All the Best to 2.0 team .
Cheers:).
Thanks for A2A .

I don't think anyone can say anything in this because movie is still 6–8 months away. It even a trailer is released based on which we can at least form some opinion. But with below facts movie would still be interesting,
- Rajini
- Akshay Kumar has not disappointed since last few years (except very few films)
- Shankar did wonderful job with first movie, most likely he will repeat considering his track record
- Robot was probably first true science fiction movie in India (the rest which tried to be part of this genre were pure comedy / too bad)
- Special effects in first part were brilliant, just like Bahuba

- Amy Jackson really does not count as great actress, none the less it would be interesting to see her opposite Rajini
- Some reports claim this might not be a sequel in true sense, it will carry the story of Chitti fwd
2.0 Teaser review:
One liner review: Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar Combo will create spree of record smashing box-office collection like Bahubali : The Conclusion.
Let’s discuss first Positive Points as movie is 2 point 0 then go for Negative Points:
Positive Points:
- Rajnikant Sir: Rajinikanth the thalaiva was the USP of ROBOT as in the double role of Scientist and Robot. Once again he will reprise his double role in this sequel. Robot emerged as the top-earning Indian film of 2010 so good sign for 2.0.

- Akshay Kumar: He is next generation Manoj Kumar from Bollywood who is choosing script wisely and always trying to do different from previous project so this time he taken another major challenge of turning into villain for 2.0 movie.
- Combo of North and South: Remember insane box-office collection of Baahubali: The Conclusion as this movie earned only 511 crores in Hindi Dubbed version. If some south Indian cinema loved by North Indian means raining of money at box-office. That’s why Shankar has taken Rajni- Akshay combo for this factor.
- Shankar the Director: Shankar is visionary director of Indian Cinema because his project is totally out of box for film industry. When other director hesitate to choose some new concept, Shankar ready to perform on new concepts. 2.0 is the first movie from Indian Cinema which totally shoot in 3 D format that’s why so much cost involve in the making of this movie.
- Concept: Robot was the induction of new concept to Indian cinema and 2.0 look like extension of that concept with more VFX work.
now come to Negative Points of 2 point 0 :
- Expectations: Sequel comes up with huge expectations from audience. Movie Goers always interested in some thing better than previous installment. If there is something is lacking or missing from previous part, there is huge disappointment for the audience.
- Script: As per trailer, Script revolve around Mobile phone issue. This issue looks so crazy for the audience because they are witness with flying of cellphone first time. Ultimately movie will tell the whole logic behind this issue.
- Amy Jackson: Robot has Aishwarya Rai Bachchan so it got much attention from North and South audience. It will be difficult for Amy Jackson to turn into crowd puller like Aish.
- VFX: Movie lovers are not impressed with the VFX work in the trailer itself. There are many deadline missed due to VFX issue. There may be the case, VFX team fix the issue in hurry so VFX is not up to the mark.
- Curiosity: ROBOT failed to left any curiosity for sequel like Bahubali : The Beginning did with “Why Kattappa killed Bahubali?”. Craze is there in the audience but not up to the level of Bahubali : The Conclusion. Still it is on the top in recent time. See below image:

The first shot of the trailer itself hints at the basic plot of the movie. Mobile radiations are killing the birds and one man is standing for the birds. We’ve had villains with bad motives, but this time, it is a villain with a good motive choosing a wrong path.
The director is hinting at the way technology is breaking the relations too with a subtle scene like this. Look at the below image from the trailer, all are busy in their phones.
So basically, our villain is pulling out all the mobile phones to make a massive bird.
Cool. Then we see some CGI magic.
Then comes this shot in the trailer.
So, what is the fifth force?
The Four Fundamental Forces of Nature are Gravitational force, Weak Nuclear force, Electromagnetic force and Strong Nuclear force.
The director, Shankar, sat with the scientists discussing the probability of a fifth force based on which this movie has been written.
Then comes our Superstar. Honestly, I expected his suit to be better. But Rajini makes ordinary things look pretty good.
And after that, the entire trailer is filled with CGI wonders like these.
So guys, we have our basic plot in front of us. It is a very simple one indeed.
So what is special about this movie?
Look at this image.
This movie brings together few of the biggest names in the movie industry. Right from Rajini, Akshay, Shankar, A R Rahman, Resul Pookutty, Srinivas Mohan and Kenny Bates. They are the one of the biggest names in their respective fields.
All of them are coming together for a movie, it must be special, right?
Also, there are quite a few people commenting on the bad CGI of the movie and criticising its poor quality. For some reason, people are comparing the VFX of this movie to that of Avengers: Infinity War.
Infinity War was made with a budget of 350 million USD whereas 2.0’s budget in 500 crore INR. There is a difference of almost 5 times between the two and the team of 2.0 have made such a good quality possible.
So what is the final reaction to the trailer?
2.0 is ready to set our screens on fire. And I’m waiting eagerly for it.
It was ok.
I was never a fan of South Indian movie teasers. If you have seen previous trailers of Shankar & Rajni's collaboration; you would also agree with me.
The trailers are made for generating public interest and garnering first weekend collection. But here, makers know that Rajnikanth's name is more than enough to pull people to theatres. Then why waste money & energy in making the trailer. It also helps them in hiding the storyline. The same strategy helped them for Shivaji - The Boss & Robot; then why not here.
It's awesome. Seriously fantastic. I watched it on mobile, which is 2D.
Some of my friends who watched in 3D, told that the trailer was fun to watch and vfx shots are bliss to eyes.
So yeah, in 2D I felt few vfx shots were not so super like giant men fighting, but won't complain because it will be best in theatres.
Rajni the thalaiva is truly a bliss to watch. Wow man. His screen presence can't beat up with any other.
Few things to notice and get clarity in real movie, that whether Amy is a real robot or made just like Chitti, and most of it is in last scene of trailer that is the interchangeable

The main movie is for sure going to make everyone keep stunned the way vfx is arranged. Waiting to see akki and Rajni fight scenes and whole Rajnikanth scenes.
Thanks for A2A.
As I have not watched the leaked version of the teaser before, I enjoyed the teaser. The concept was interesting and intriguing. The BGM got the teaser the required spice. The opening shots were great - the wide angle shot of the landscape, the telephone tower and birds circling around it. Then I liked the shot where the mobiles phones are snatched from the people’s hands and then the shot where the people fall from a height and a VFX hand coming out to rescue them. And of course the surprising ’hu hu..’ sound by superstar at the end with his glasses sliding up.

Then I liked the shot where the mobiles phones are snatched from the people’s hands and then the shot where the people fall from a height and a VFX hand coming out to rescue them. And of course the surprising ’hu hu..’ sound by superstar at the end with his glasses sliding up.
The letdown, as you might have heard from many people by now, was VFX. I breathed a sigh of relief when I was informed that the movie was meant for a 3D watch on the big screen. Let's hope there is a VFX extravaganza on the big screen to witness shortly.
Here is my honest view: The trailer of 2.0 was not anything more than just okay. But, there are a lot of perspectives and it wouldn’t be fair to talk about one or two and ignore the others. I’d try to be fair and share what I liked and what I didn’t:
What was likable:
1. The amount of effort that has been put in VFX & SFX. The CG eagle and all the scenes involving it are impressive. At least now Indian filmmakers have understood that VFX is a huge fish.
2. The fight scene in a stadium shows a lot of CG particles flying here and there, which also must have been a very lengthy, tiring process.
3.

2. The fight scene in a stadium shows a lot of CG particles flying here and there, which also must have been a very lengthy, tiring process.
3. The initial scene looked exciting — where birds (eagles?) are surrounding a telephone tower and a man’s silhouette is seen (like something unexpected would happen next).
Good to see Rajnikanth reprising his role and being what he is known for.
What didn’t entertain:
1. The same old problem with a lot of Indian VFX films — too many references to other, mainly Hollywood films. A lot of scenes seem to be picked from the MCU films (Avengers, Thor, Spiderman: Homecoming etc.). How many times have we seen an alien creature flying and destroying buildings? A lot of times. It should either be reinvented or not shown. And did you notice that guy with wings? That seemed to be inspired by Vulture (which isn’t a sin, but because we are tired of seeing unoriginal stuff).
2. Chitti’s black metal suit looked like it is made out of plastic. It looked dull and it's awesomeness looked forced, not genuine.
3. Another effect which we have seen too many times before is of Chitti holding multiple guns and running robots being made from phones.
4. Akshay Kumar’s look. If Kumar is the villain here, his looks don’t seem strong enough (he is reminding me of Taserface from GOTG 2). We didn’t get to see enough of Kumar, except that one lame dialogue. (We have to wait to see this. Maybe Kumar has acted very well and his acting would dominate much more. The trailer is definitely hiding a lot more that is there to see, so we need to see the movie for concrete review)
5. And finally, the problem that we see often in Indian films. Rajnikanth, a 67-year-old man romancing 26-year-old Amy Jackson, that’s an age gap of a grandfather and a granddaughter. It doesn’t look right. The scene where Amy teleports herself toward Rajni... is eww!
In the end, it is important to say that nothing is over. The release of 2.0 is pending and we can only wonder till then. It is possible that all these doubts would be cleared by the goodness of the film, and I hope it will offer something much more than what we saw in Enthiran. Let’s wait and see.
I am a big south Indian film’s Fan. But this trailer disappoints me just like it disappointed me when I came out watching the first part. I have no idea what the craze was for.
One of my friends went to watch Kabali in terrible excitement after its release as the first day, first show and came back disappointed. He told me that everyone was disappointed who was in the hall.
Now… Are you afraid I am

Now… Are you afraid I am going to write anything against Rajni in this post?
How can I, when I have seen nearly all his films and I know his calibre as an actor?
He is a commercial mass actor but he is a great actor.
If the film fails, he still delivers his best. It has become a part of his personality now.
But I strictly feel that the directors who are casting him these days, are totally doing it to exploit his mass reach and popularity.
They are over-confident that since they have a massive star then even a bad film can fetch them more than 200 crores, the worst part is, more often than not, they are right.
I saw the making of 2.0 and it was all technical hogwash. They boasted that they used this technology or that camera, but nothing, absolutely nothing can prepare you for a bad story and a bad execution.
No cares what cameras they used or what technology they used, but the final output should speak for itself.
I didn’t like the graphics of Baahubali-1 and I didn’t like the film either. It was an ambitious project with South Indian actors and a great effort, somehow I was unable to connect with it. But with Baahubali-2, everything changed. It had better graphics, great framing and a superb story line. The trailer was nicely cut. They seemed to use their resources pretty well.
So, with the trailer of 2.0, one thing is missing – conviction.
The graphics are way too loaded and too fantastical that it ruins the movie. You don’t need to insert graphics everywhere to make it look good. If there are too much graphics initially, people will get used to it by the time climax comes in and then there will be no excitement.
The trailer that was released today had majorly the same shots from the teaser that was released a month back. There is nothing too different here except for the stadium fight shots which were also too blur and not that impressive.
Akshay Kumar is only taken here for his star appeal and not for his acting prowess. He is taken so that Hindi Film Watching Population can be enticed to enter into the hall for more profits. However, anyone could have done that role and gotten away with it.
The entire story has been told in the trailer and there is nothing more left to know about the film.
The character of Akshay Kumar seems to have lost everything because of a technology (My guess : a mobile) so to take revenge he becomes all the more powerful when some accident gives ...
2.0 is a sensation at the moment. In order to answer your question, lemme break the teaser into fragment and discuss in detail. Then you may decide how I felt about it.
Shankar as a director has been a very influential person, so everyone knows that he chooses the best resource in all streams, example he has the Reputation for himself, he chooses the best actor, actress, musician, editor, cameraman and every technician are the best in the stream. So naturally we can only expect that he would make money out of it. He does not take a risk hiring or utilising a fresh talent. So I get pissed of wit

Coming to 2.0, the opening scene shows that some sort of Falcon is formed with the smartphones that are pulled by some magnetic force and Chitti is using the formulation with multiple clones of Chitti which we have already seen in Endhiran. In the previous sequel he used it to destroy the city and maybe this time he is a Hero saving the city. Avalathan Vera onum ila.
Akshays makeup is horrific, when there are so many talented people with Shankar to suggest a make up and look for the villain, I don't know why they choose this look. Truly Akshays looks like one of the Power Rangers villain with all that thermocol and plastic accessories glued to his face and body. Pathetic. That's a flop look to me.
Nothing specific was about Amy in the teaser, so no comments.
Music was legendary. One thing that surprises me is the consistency of movies that Rahman works in. He has been amusing every single generation with his magnificent composition. If someone would listen to the 2.0 teaser without a visual, definitely he would be convinced it is a Hollywood product. That good is Rahman.
THAT FINAL PIECE OF BRASS OR HERALD TRUMPET WHEN THE TITLE APPEARS AT 1.19 IS VERA LEVEL.
CGI for the Falcon is very nice from 1.00 to 1.04
On the whole, 2.0 is gonna be a gamble. The Endhiran franchise has nothing to do with Art. Its a gamble, Shankar would definitely sell this for a higher bid.
So let's wait and watch.
There was a kid seated beside my seat when I got into the theatre. I opened instagram and browsed for 3–4 minutes while the ads were coming up.

She: how will he know whose mobile is what?
Me: ( I am dumb. I had nothing to speak about. I thought for some time.) He might keeps every thing at the same place where he picked up.
She: ohh
I saw clearly that she enjoyed the most during the second half as she yells seeing kabutar and chota chitti (pigeon and small robot).
Then I was like it is for children and they would enjoy this.
At the end while standing in the queue for submitting the 3d glasses, her mom and she had one hilarious discussion:
Mom: what do you understand?
Kid: we already killed many birds.
Mom: not that, next time when you ask my mobile for games, I will call him. Mind it.
Kid: o...

It is gonna be a huge flop. Just watch the trailer and you’ll know. They have spent tons of money just to delivery the worst piece of VFX. Nothing makes sense in the trailer, mobile phones get sucked by some invisible force to form a giant bird.
2.0’s Teaser was very impressive. I would like to rate the teaser in detail.
The VFX of the film shown in the teaser looks pretty good but that doesn’t match the Hollywood standard.
Story of the film also seems to be interesting and its something really new and unique. I think it is not a copy of any other f...
10 million views in youtube in 2 days, free tickets for 3D teaser in theaters and people loving it. it has most expensive VFX in Indian history. Rajni and Akshay has strong fan base making it huge success.
The film has been aptly named - Black. Any work of Pa. Ranjith comes with a political subtext. Black signifies Dravidianism, Periyarism. It universally signifies the oppressed and the downtrodden. In any Communist reading, black and red are used inter changeably. Rajini even spells out the context - கருப்பு: உழைப்போட வண்ணம்! It represents resistance to hegemony. Pa. Ranjith has always spoken his views with an Ambedkarite tone. So black is definitely about the downtrodden, oppressed, marginalised working class that is being exploited for the good of the hegemonic class.

Pa.Ranjith is no alien to African American politics and Civil Rights movement. He has spoken on ghettoisation. I am sure that any person who has suffered segregation/discrimination would relate to the content. Needless to say, black also denotes the South India/Dravidian States.
Even in his previous works, there are phrases to be highlighted. Rajini in Kabali says ‘கருப்பு POWERம்மா” and in Madras where the opening song announces “கருப்பர் தமிழ் மண்ணே.”
Ranjith takes a dig at BJP’s much hated Brahminism and Communal Politics by getting the villain speak about Divinity and Cleanliness. Even a child would spell Swachch Bharat and Saffron Politics. But Ranjith has even spoon fed the watcher by giving him a saffron background in the next scene with the words ‘Pure Mumbai’ in it. So we can expect Ranjith schooling his viewers the difference between Spiritual Purity and Moral Cleanliness. Rajinikanth has secured a self goal against his spiritual politics by starring in Kaala.
Since the trailer opens with Nana Patekar saying “Kaala! Kaisa naam he?!” I expect that the film would speak on the Madarasi stereotyping.
And I expect that the film would stir the masses and keep the dialogue on social justice livelier than it is now. Surely, the film has some kick ass music that will infuriate the privileged class.
“வா! உன்னையும் மண்ணையும் வென்று வா! தீராத ஓர் தேவையை கொண்டு வா! நூறாயிரம் ஆண்டுகள் போதுமே! ஒன்றாகவே மாறுவாய்! சீறுவாய்!
கற்றவை! பற்றவை!”
The song not only starts with a call to Demand the Impossible (like Che said). It hints a call for uprising, breaking shackles that enslave us. The song also reflects Ambedkar’s very famous line ‘Educate, Unite, Agitate’ in the last line. The word ‘சீறுவாய்!’ specifically denotes the growl of the panthers. Panther may either hint his friend Thol. Thirumavalavan’s விடுதலை சிறுத்தைகள் or the Black Panthers party in American Civil Rights movement. The Black Panthers believed that they had to actually fight to get their freedom unlike what Martin Luther King professed. Considering Kaala’s way of doing things, it may be a reference. “கற்றவை! பற்றவை!” may refer to Self Respect movement where Periyar burnt superstitious, discriminatory material like Manu Sashtra.
The teaser also looks like it aestheticizes violence like in films of Quentin Tarantino. What gangster movie is short of blood and violence?
You couldn’t have missed people shouting “போராடுவோம்” in unison as the title cards roll by. We can surely expect an agitation against the people in power.
The teaser of magnum opus 2.0 released today on 13-Sep-2018.
The storyline that I can guess is this -
Dr. Richard (Akshay Kumar) is a scientist who wants to develop a kind of radiation free world. Most harmful radiations are from mobile phones which harm the birds the most.
The mobile companies however try to suppress Dr. Richard fearing their business loss and market takeover by Dr. Richard’s new vision/invention.
Somehow, while trying to avoid the installation of a mobile tower at a green village, Dr. Richard is possibly murdered, only to look like a suicide. This is evident from this scene -

Somehow, while trying to avoid the installation of a mobile tower at a green village, Dr. Richard is possibly murdered, only to look like a suicide. This is evident from this scene -
Green village with its first and only mobile tower -
Hanging Dr. Richard being surrounded and rescued by the birds -
Out of some electric shock or something, and with the co-operation from birds, Dr. Richard comes to life and decides to fight for the rights of the birds, thus making the Tagline “World is not only for humans”.
To make the pain of birds felt by others, Dr. Richard takes away all the mobiles from the city and accumulates them around a Mobile Company’s owner, probably, and kills him with the radiations -
To tackle such unusual deaths, meeting happens here -
This meeting includes -
- Dr. Vaseegaran, a great scientist who earlier made world’s most advanced robot. This is played by Rajni Sir.
- Business Tycoon Shahrah Bohra, s/o Dr.Bohra (antagonist from Enthiran 1). Played by Sudhanshu Pandey, this character, I believe is only to milk the opportunity and produce millions of money.
- Amy Jackson possibly a budding and/or international scientist, who agrees to assist Dr. Vaseegaran, but maybe later betrays him to join Shahrah Bohra.
In the meeting, it is decided to bring back Chitti into action, which was dismantled in Enthiran 1.
When Chitti almost saves the city from the Dr. Richard (possibly known as CrowMan by now), somehow Chitti is replaced by the negative Chitti 2.0. This in turn helps the CrowMan to take over other cities as well.
Notice this scene, where a new mobile tower is being installed but the security is attacked by CrowMan -
Notice the number plate of AP, indicating this city to be Hyderabad or any other Andhra Pradesh’s city -
Finally to get his voice heard loud and clear, CrowMan reaches the nation’s capital where the Indian Football League is the most happening event -
As the CrowMan takes over the stadium, Chitti puts the the Army of CrowMan (his birds) into a cage -
This form the epic climax fight scene which would be the best part of the film.
I may be 99% wrong but atleast this is what I can infer from the teaser.
Confirmation is due for 29-Nov-2018. And its a Shankar film. So hell lot of twists and turns are expected!!
Edit 1 - Venkatesh pointed out about Evil Chitti, and this is what I feel (do note the timestamp as well to settle contradictions of any) -
Editor’s note - See what I inferred from the Poster of Zero:
Rohit Prabhakar's answer to Why are movie posters vertical?
I am not going to roast the trailer but I will sure put in my thoughts.
Before we start, we should remember 1 golden rule about film making.
Film making is not about equipment or budget or star cast or not even great script, Its about Vision.
Yes the vision with which a director portrays a theme or a story. Rest all elements fall in line one by one with script coming next, star cast, budget, VFX and so on..

If you check the history in any language, the greatest of movies are all based on great Storytelling or Vision as foreseen by the director. How effectively he puts it across the celluloid is what makes the difference. The factors like equipment, budget VFX are like side dishes or enhancer that help to boost it, thats all. I will prove this point with simple examples:
- So many remakes of Block busters fall flat, or average or bombs at box office.
- Inspired movies from originals bomb at box office
- Almost all Super Stars or great actors gave lots of Flops as well. Here we know that a particular actor is a great actor, but given the flop movie, the credit goes to the director.
Now coming to the point of the 2.0 trailer and the budget. When I saw the trailer, I laughed so hard that It was almost like a Joke.
The reason is, Bollywood directors dont have a great Vision when it comes to handle such mammoth Subjects. You might have read a lot of answers that have roasted the trailer scene by scene and its indeed true.
In spite of having a huge budget,. the vision was poor and the outcome is also poor. Even if they give 150 million Dollars, Most of the Bollywood directors wont be able to make or utilize it to that perfection. Baring a few most directors cant do that as we have seen from 2.0
The action sequences were laughable. Every frame of that trailer was riddled with cliche and cringe worthy moments. Lets talk about that Phone flying scenes, where the director could not visualize a legit, logical or a stylish yet brutal way of phones being flying away.
At 0.50 the scenes are ripped version of Avengers, Transformers, Battleship and so on. The entire action sequences look so amateur and kiddish that it doesn't deserve that budget. Look at the color grading of the movie! Still looks like a movie from 1990 with no color tones to portray emotions.
At 1.00, look how chitti runs and then glides onto a Hospital Roller Bed to crash out of the Window. I am not nit picking to say its bad, I am nit picking to tell that our Directors lack vision to show something awesome and take it another level or creativity within the boundaries of the theme being displayed.
Look At Akshay Kumars outfit, makeup, his gestures. A Super villain of that sort, why would any logical person will have eyelashes of that kind !! Thats simple logic. We have so many demonic villains in Hollywood movies, but did u find such a ill fitting villain? Rubbish dressing sense and preposterous make up and illogical mix of human and animal or what not.
THATS WRONG/BAD VISION
Every Movie has a domain and a range within which the script, actors scenes and dialog and everything of the movie is contained. When it comes to magnum opus movies, we have style, attitude and VFX added that makes it cool to look. Not Cheap or kiddish or something that we used to see decades ago.
Still the Bollywood Directors choose to highlight and take actors or start into consideration rather than the script or shots or screenplay or other aspects of the movies as center stage.
We would take another decade or two to get a director or directors who have vision that can transform into a beautiful movie without all the rubbish we still get. Budget Doesn't matter. It never did.
Coming to comparison with Hollywood, We can never nor every try to compete with them for a simple reason.
WE CANT
Now, Not because we cant, but its of no use. We have a different level and value to entertainment and they have different which cater to world wide screens and hence they have a Quality or Standards to maintain. Not to forget that they have best directors from all nations working in Hollywood.
They are and will be decades ahead of us in terms of vision, conceptualization, VFX, tools and son on. Even if we get a director or something, he might movie to Hollywood and start his career. who knows.
The aim our Directors have is to Make money, add elements that will make people scream when they see stars appear onscreen, make them larger than life as they can be. Total devotion is to blind audiences eye with illogical charisma of the stars to get Box office collection up. Some fail some get it, and others follow suit and repeat the same stuff.
They dont want to tell a story. they want to sell a story. There is a huge difference.
The visuals look good! But still wish to pass on it!
As, everyone by this time knows Indian 2 is a very average movie, I am going to just say what dint work in this movie comparing to the original.
- Indian thatha speaks a lot which was really irritating and he was so preachy. Nothing new he spoke or identified the issue.
- Excessive action made is unbelievable or tiring. Previously, he used to be subtle and sneaky. Now he make grand entrance and punch dialogues make it cliche.

- He cannot fight corruption alone throughout the country. They should have atleast created 100 students under him and he operates them. He moved to different parts of country easily and gets into high security area like a cake walk.
- No emotions really touched me expect the Siddharth part.
- #comebackindian changing to #gobackindian in minutes was a joke and it was never convincing.
- Clean your home to clean the country was the one liner. But never was taken seriously. They should have concentrated just on one family but might have backfired too.
- Audience taste changes over time. Message oriented films might never get into youths today. They should be said in a sutle way and it is the audience who decides what to do. Until Anniyan it worked.
- Shankar earlier movies always makes me think and look for change like Indian, Mudhalvan, Anniyan. But this is no way close.
- Varmam was made a joke in this movie and lost respect. They should have been presented differently and thatha explaining the varmam dint fit at all.
- Not going to compare music. Anirudh had huge shoes to fill and he knows he will be compared. But made a decent attempt and used old tracks which was nice.
Well, it is very difficult.
Being a tamil guy and a Big fan of thalaivar I'm saying this .
Baahubali has managed to collect more than 1500 crores so far and hopefully it will end up with a collection of at least 2000 crores. Baahubali had created a huge market which was never expected. These kinda things happen once in a Blue moon .

It could bring people all over the country to come and watch.
To break Baahubali Robo 2.0 has to be very good and it should make people watch the film repeatedly. But it is going to be very difficult for thalaivar to break Baahubali.
But thalaivar has proved himself a lot. Nothing more to prove. Thalaivar rocks always.
Definitely yes!
Some people are complaining about the bad vfx. Well even I didn't find the vfx very impressive.
But I believe that Shankar will not disappoint us in the plot of the movie . If we look at other movies of Shankar, the plot was never disappointing. Do not forget that the plot is the central element of the movie.
Movies with good vfx have become flops in the past . Thugs of Hindustan is a very good example of a movie with good vfx and an awful plot. And we all know how bad the reviews were.

Moreover I think that the vfx is not going to be bad in the final cut. It is because the entire movie was shot on 3d cameras. The trailer was released in 2d. The 3d to 2d conversion may have downgraded the vfx a little but I am sure that the movie watching experience will not be compromised in any way.
We must also keep this in mind that the budget of 2.0 is about 10–15% of any Hollywood movie like avengers or justice League etc. We can expect good vfx but not “ Hollywood level” vfx.
When we have legendary actors like Akshay Kumar and Rajni kanth who bring life to whatever role they are playing, what else do we need ?
Bro let be honest .Befor watching this movie I expect totally different just to what I get.them of story is less than my expection while .But thenever I’m satisfied because its AKSHAY KUMAR film that’s why it is related to socil walfare .

This film is named 2.0 means it related to robots .2.0 red chip is designed for ffight against the negative power of akshaykumar which is created after his suicide .

The Devastation of Earth. I think this movie will show how the radiation is killing our nature.
Film prediction : Akshay Kumar is a bird lover, scientist .He noticed that radiation is killing all birds and no-one cares about it. So he starts to take revenge and probably gets out of control .
He Snatches away all the mobiles from the city people . Then he accumulates them around a Mobile Company’s owner , probably, for killing him by it's radiation.
Then chitti comes to save people from Anti-hero akshay Kumar.

Reasons for negative criticism for the 2.0 teaser :-
1. Its already a leaked one - Well a film which has a running time below 2 hours cannot reveal more by giving us a new teaser and moreover its our mistake that we viewed a pirated teaser copy.
2. Less quality graphics and VFX - Well this is the first Indian film to shot the movie directly in 3D instead of converting from 2D to 3D because the movie team wants us to see the high quality visuals directly shot in 3D. If the conversion happens the quality diminish little bit. Hollywood 3D movies like Jurassic park are shot in 2D and converted to 3D

2. Less quality graphics and VFX - Well this is the first Indian film to shot the movie directly in 3D instead of converting from 2D to 3D because the movie team wants us to see the high quality visuals directly shot in 3D. If the conversion happens the quality diminish little bit. Hollywood 3D movies like Jurassic park are shot in 2D and converted to 3D. So 2D shot of those films might have looked great in youtube whereas if you change the dimension of our real environment ( 3D ) to flat image ( 2D ) then obviously the viewing experience degrades.
3. The leaked teaser and this is same in every way I repeat in every way. But in the these 8 months they didn't release the film because of VFX works so the thing is many of the graphics were added in these time but it is not added in the teaser.
Ray Hannisian a hollywood artist working as a 3D supervisior for 2.0 confirmed that the teaser images are not final outlet since more vfx works are to be added.
4. Growth of Rajni sir haters. I can't comment anything about his politics entry but I can say you one thing rejecting this hard work film for a single actor is like wanting India to lose against the opponent because of the hating towards a team captain. How these two will be same ? It is. Like Indian cricket team kollywood / bollywood / tollywood and every other regional film industry represent India and moreover Mumbai and Chennai being a high GDP cities and their respective film industries playing a vital role in it.
5. Delay - To do great things it requires great effort and time.
The difference between us and westerners is they don't hesitate to fail they try but we don't hesitate to troll. 1 USD = 70 +₹ so obviously even 500+ crore is not a big money compared to dollars but if we want to see the growth of our film industry we need to appreciate the hard work of the movie team.
Those who complaint about Endhiran / Robot indirectly love avatar. Though both are love story scripts.
See instead of idolizing westerns though whatever shit they do join hands and support the movie. I am not a big movie buff or a crazy fan but mature enough to respect the hard work. To be honest I don't like bahubali because I dont like king and mythology like films but combined work of around 800+ workers must be appreciated.
Every work matters. Give Respect and support this kind of film.
