It really looks so disgusting when you are surrounded by 100 people around you but everyone’s soul is possessed by their cell phones thus giving you a crappy feeling. The harmful radiations are not only causing damage to Bird’s life but also to Human beings , specially kids.

STOP Using Excessive use of cell phones as these are not only the radiations which are harmful but these devices are killing your real emotional flow . Please go through below points :

- People have downloaded Tinder to make friendships and dating as they have lost the courage to approach directly and make live conversations.

-People have started thinking that Zomato, Foodpanda and Swiggy are the end of the world , as if these would not had existed, everybody would had died of Hunger. No one wants to learn cooking, visiting food mess.

-Ola and Uber are cashing their fortune because we all are dependent on our lazy lifestyle and as a result we keep paying whatever fares they demand.

-Our lifestyle is a slave of Amazon/Flipkart and Myntra . People hardly want to visit market these days.

-When you are jobless then wasting time on PUBG is another new trend.

-Out of all the wonders few minds have become so lost in cell phones that they have started making funny poses and sounds on apps like musically, smule etc. So as per old theories definitely our species is towards transformation to an ape again.

JUST THINK
…………………

Its our craze towards the cell phones because of which telecom companies are becoming more greedy and increasing the levels of signals thus causing a danger to human beings and birds.

Advice to Youth
……….. …………..

-Next time when you are in a public place, anywhere busy in Tinder or any Social app like facebook. Please turn off your mobile. Look around you. If you see a Beautiful girl in front of you or a Handsome guy beside you, greet each other. Socialize. Make the same things happen without using facebook or Tinder.

-Stop your dependency on Foodpanda/Swiggy/Zomato. Learn to cook at least something in your life

-Instead of using Ola/Uber buy a cruze bike and try to ride it with style.

-Understanding that your presence is really meaningful in this world and you are a human being and not an ape, for god sake stop making funny faces , videos on apps like Musically and Smule. Use your creative mind instead to do something meaningful rather than wasting your precious time of your life acting like an ape.

I know , you will read it , upvote/Downvote it, like/Unlike it and again in next few seconds your cell phone will be in your hand. But just think for a second, that if the creation of Hand by God was just to carry cellphones ?

Panjab University has found that EMR can damage bird eggs and embryos.

Cell phones and towers emit a very low frequency of 900 or 1,800 MHz, called microwaves. Studies have found that they can cause thin skulls of chicks and thin egg shells.

So yes mobile phone radiation is actually harming birds.

As per my friend's latest study on impacts of communication towers on wildlife including birds and bees submitted to Ministry of Environment and Forest warns of harmful radiation and recommends special laws to protect urban flora & fauna from threats radiation emerging from mobile towers. The transmission towers are based on the electromagnetic waves, which over prolonged usage have adverse impacts on humans as well as on other fauna. The adverse effects of electromagnetic radiation from mobile phones and communication towers on health of human beings are well documented today. However, exact correlation between radiation of communication towers and wildlife, are not yet very well established. The Ministry of Environment and Forests usually receives several questions regarding this issue. In view of one such Lok Sabha Starred question regarding ‘Ill effects of Mobile Towers on Birds’ received on 11th August, 2010, an ‘Expert committee to Study the possible Impacts of Communication Towers on Wildlife including Birds and Bees’ was constituted on 30th August, 2010 by Ministry of Environment and Forest, Government of India

The navigation skill of birds are affected by the radiation as a result some birds become alone and out of their colony. It also affects the insect population which invariably causes harm to its prey.

But as it is said in the movie, people want hard evidence.

It is also said that humans get affected by radiation, it can cause sleeplessness, depression, skin disease or even cancer so what makes you think birds donot get affected?

Still there is no evidence.

These microwaves operate at line of sight which these antennas radiation happens above 30mtrz and goes beyond 100mtrs from ground level and these radiation happens with a width of some mtrs called frenel zone above 30mtr

These radiation is harmful but not that harmful that it kills bees and birds

For not all birds but It may cause irritation to some bird spicies because of the high frequency

Eleanor R. Adair conducted microwave health research by exposing herself, animals and humans to microwave levels that made them feel warm or even start to sweat and feel quite uncomfortable. She found no adverse health effects other than heat.

As a telecom engineer I have seen birds laying nests on telecom towers like crows, pigeons, eagles

If it is that harmful they would never lay nests on towers.

Hope this makes a sense to believe that radiation not harmful

If we care about birds and other spicies. The only thing we should concern about is we should maintain greenery balance. Plant more trees. Build lakes.

To understand this, we need to understand the max output power that a cellular base station can output.

Normally, you would consider a 43 dBm transmit power for a macro base station. Translated to linear power, this is about 20 watts. Now, power is distributed across 3 120 degree angles, or 3 sectors (angles) that antennas are directed. So closer to 7 W in one direction IF the efficiency was 100%.

Now, power is distributed across 3 120 degree angles, or 3 sectors (angles) that antennas are directed. So closer to 7 W in one direction IF the efficiency was 100%. Which it definitely is not, probably closer to 75% if you are really lucky. Anyways, let’s just say 100% efficient. For 5G mm wave technology, this high power is super important, as the higher frequencies won’t last for long distances. That’s gotta fry them, right?

Now, we don’t do SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) testing for every animal, so I don’t imagine you to find a test case on birds. But for this purpose, we can assume a bird’s tissue as easily absorbable as a human’s. In the USA, the FCC regulates SAR to 1.6W/kg. This determines the distance a human must be from the base station, the reason why you see those fences around the station. How did they get that? They get something that mimics human tissue, see what power it takes to effect that in any way over long periods of time, and then back off way from that value.

A blue Jay might weigh 2.3–3.8 oz, let’s say 3 oz average. The 1.6W/kg converts to 0.0454W/oz, or 0.1362W/3 oz. In the case of our blue jay. So let’s say our blue jay could only take that much, then they were effected.

The blue jay flies in front of the 7W transmitting power antennas. Does it die because it can only take 0.1362W over it's whole body?

No…

The reason is because SAR is backed off. I mean waaayyy backed off. Because the government had to get involved because of people thinking that we were getting hurt or burnt in some way from electromagnetic radiation.

We don’t…

So testing was done to see when things would be effected, and then SAR divided that by some very large factor, and said, this is the SAR that is safe. The power also is so small when you are transferring information, AANND, it’s not concentrated.

When you think of long range radiation, it’s dispersed, and relatively low power. Even 7W is nothing, because even with directional antennas, you still lose a lot over power through heat in the system, side lob...

High number of Telecom companies is not a bad thing infact it's the reason why we have high speed internet at cheap rates.

I went to Saudi Arabia and was surprised by the high internet prices not just based on inr to Sar conversion but the relative price and speed and the network. They have only 3 telecom companies of which 1 is fully owned by government and other is partly owned by government and the other is private.

Compare the US ,we have relatively cheaper internet even if you account for inr to usd conversion.

If we find proof then we need to find alternate frequency or some alternate technology that can be made economical. We have opened the Pandora box we can't deal it back.

I have confidence we can find something to also help with our power consumption, before we had high amounts of lead in petrol when we discovered it's harm we found alternative.

Massive change takes time to implement.

Those are directional microwave antennas, that are aimed at another such antenna on a nearby tower. They are very powerful since they need to transmit the entire tower traffic thru them, and they do that by having direct microwave beam blasting to another target antenna.
Those antennas are very warm, so in cold climates birds like to sit and even nest next to those antennas, most of the reclamations we had on those were because a bird actually broke thru the housing and made a nest inside the antenna itself. But those things are basically a microwave oven set at 300watt, which is not enough to cook the bird instantly, but sure is enough to kill it over time.

Whether cell phone towers pose a danger to birds and insects is a complex and disputed issue. Here's a breakdown of the current understanding:

Potential Concerns:

  • Some studies suggest that the non-ionizing radiation emitted by cell phone towers can affect the navigation and reproduction of birds and insects, particularly those that rely on magnetic fields for orientation.
  • Proponents of this view point to studies showing potential disruptions in bird behavior, declines in bird populations in some areas coinciding with cell tower rollout, and even impacts on bee health.

  • Proponents of this view point to studies showing potential disruptions in bird behavior, declines in bird populations in some areas coinciding with cell tower rollout, and even impacts on bee health.

Scientific Consensus:

  • However, the majority of major scientific and regulatory bodies conclude that the evidence of harm from cell phone towers to wildlife is weak and inconclusive.
  • Organizations like the World Health Organization, the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection, and the US Federal Communications Commission have reviewed hundreds of studies and found no consistent evidence of harm at the low levels of radiation emitted by cell phone towers.

Challenges in Reaching Consensus:

  • The research field is complex and ongoing, with some studies suggesting potential effects and others not. Establishing causality in environmental studies is often challenging.
  • Different methodologies and species studied make it difficult to draw definitive conclusions. Further research is needed to clarify the issue.

Public Awareness:

  • The public may not be fully informed due to the conflicting nature of the evidence and the complex scientific debate.
  • It's important to be aware of both sides of the issue and rely on information from reputable scientific and regulatory bodies.

Conclusion:

  • While some concerns exist, the current scientific consensus does not support the claim that cell phone towers pose a significant danger to birds and insects.
  • If you're concerned, it's best to seek information from credible sources like the WHO or ICNIRP and avoid spreading misinformation.

- Physical and physiological changes: Mobile tower radiation can cause changes in the body temperature, blood pressure, heart rate, brain activity, and hormone levels of humans and birds. These changes can lead to stress, fatigue, insomnia, headache, memory loss, reduced immunity, and increased risk of cancer .

- Damage to plants and trees: Mobile tower radiation can affect the growth, development, and reproduction of plants and trees. It can reduce the germination, biomass, root length, and seedling vigor of some plants. It can also increase the enzyme activity and nodule formation of some plants. It can cause damage to the leaves, branches, and bark of some trees .

- Impact on bird behavior and population: Mobile tower radiation can interfere with the navigation, communication, foraging, and alertness of birds. It can also affect their egg-hatching and breeding success. It can reduce the diversity and abundance of bird species in areas with high radiation levels. It can increase the mortality rate of birds due to collisions with towers or predators .

Therefore, mobile tower radiation is indeed harmful for birds and human beings, as well as other living things in the environment. It is important to monitor and regulate the exposure levels of this radiation to protect the health and welfare of all living beings.

Infact, the whole ecosystem is being affected by the increasing cell phone towers.Yet its impact is unabated as the launch of 5G is on its move.If the telecommunications industry’s plans for 5G come to fruition, no person, no animal, no bird, no insect and no plant on Earth will be able to avoid exposure, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to levels of RF radiation that are tens to hundreds of times greater than what exists today, without any possibility of escape anywhere on the planet. These 5G plans threaten to provoke serious, irreversible effects on humans and permanent damage to all of the Earth’s ecosystems.

The continous fall in the avian population in cities with a high number of cell tower structures and high RF exposures has been cited in various regions.

Some of the facts relating to the same CAN BE EXPLAINED IN A BETTER WAY by the following graphic.

There is no scientific proof that birds die due to cell towers. In fact I have seen Crows & Eagles making nests on cell towers & doing well. So the rest of the question is immaterial.

Number of sparrows in city has definitely come down, but there is no study to link it with cell phones/towers. Sparrows feed insects to their chicks, insects need wild grass, which has reduced in cities, this could be be one reason for reduction in sparrows. On the other hand due to humans, grains supply has gone up, this helps pigeons & so number of pigeons has gone up in cities.

I have heard there is a push to get electrical companies to string their wires farther apart to avoid this problem. I don’t know how successful they have been. I went to a raptor rehabilitation center and they mentioned that they were trying to train condors to avoid power lines. They were successful because condors have an accumulation of magnetic iron in their beaks that allows them to sense electrical fields. Hopefully efforts like these will protect our birds.

The electromagnetic radiation that comes from a mobile tower is less intense than a 100 watt incandescent light bulb, and many orders of magnitude less energetic.

It’s more likely that birds could be harmed by cutting down trees to build mobile towers, than the emissions from the antennas would harm them.

Cell towers are a favorite perching point for many birds. The towers give then a safe place to rest and they are a good lookout for prey. It also gives them a place to put their nests. This is unfortunate because workers are often have to remove nests from the antennas if they block the signal path.
