I think it’s a powerful concept where some of your competitors (see Vandebron) are approaching it at a highly-integrated level, so there is an opportunity for a P2P renewable-exchange concept.

It’s just important to remember, a true “marketplace” is where you are simply hosting the interaction - brokering the introduction. You are not selling anything or drop-shipping.

I think a great example is a marketplace for renewable home supplies. This would include plates made of cork, plant-based plastic-substitute silverware and soaps.

In either case, understand your up against the giant Amazon if you go into products.

If you think outside the box a bit, you may consider something along the lines of service-based companies that (a) can come to their buyers (either locally or virtually), and (b) guarantee they only use renewable products in their services.
