Are you thinking about the saying "Find your passion and the money will follow?" If so, then stop. Right now.

People who lead enviable lives have something in their lives they are passionate about.

However, it doesn't mean that their passion is their job. Sometimes, their job allows them the wherewithal to follow their passions.

If you are good at something, but aren't happy doing it, do it anyway. You need to earn a living. Your passion doesn't have to pay you back in monetary terms.

If you go through life thinking you have to make money from something for it to be your passion, you will never find your passion.

There are a lot of things worth doing that will never bring you money.

If you're in a hurry to make money, go ahead. If you absolutely hate your job, find another one. It helps if you can find something about your job you like, but it doesn't have to be your passion.

And guess what? You don't have to be great at something to be passionate about it. If you can't imagine not doing something, it's a passion. It doesn't have to be a moneymaker. Make your money some way that will give you the time for what you really love to do.
