If you are thinking of pulling an all-nighter for the next day's exam or a project deadline, You generally drink coffee and make yourself awake.

No 5 seems to be a tricky one. There are actually a lot of, let's call them "populist pseudo science" webpages, which claim otherwise; don't fall for them. Please watch this easy explained Ted video and share your wisdom wherever you find such "fact" lists (I just call them wract = wrong "fact").

This is the webpage OP mentioned later in a comment as source:

No, 1 Kg of hot water is not heavier than 1 Kg of cold water...
Let me correct this sentence:
Warm water [hot water could be understood as water vapor] is [in some rare cases; as mentioned in my first post] actually a little bit denser than cold water. But in most cases it is the opposite: Cold water is actually denser than warm water.
(I wouldn't write it like this in normal use, this is just to show you the misunderstandings)
Best you could say may be something like: "A rule of thumb is, that the more the water's temperature approaches 4°C, the denser the water becomes."

Some bizarre co-incidences between the fact and the fiction:
1. Titanic was described in the newspapers as "designed to be unsinkable", whereas the Titan was deemed "practically unsinkable" in the book.
2. There were 16 lifeboats on the Titanic, less than half the number required for her passenger and crew capacity of 3000. Whereas on the Titan there were 24 lifeboats, less than half needed for her 3000 capacity.
3. The Titanic struck an iceberg on the starboard side on the night of April 14, 1912, in the North Atlantic, 400 nautical miles (740 km; 460 mi) away from Newfoundland. The Titan also struck an iceberg on the starboard side on an April night in the North Atlantic, 400 nautical miles (740 km; 460 mi) from Newfoundland (Terranova).
4. The unsinkable Titanic sank, and more than half of her 2200 passengers and crew died. The indestructible Titan also sank, more than half of her 2500 passengers drowning.
An amazing fact that is highly disturbing as well.

Changelog #1:
- Modified the content on the compatibility of this trick and included a tip shared by an user in the comment box.
- Added another small little trick about Windows hidden themes.
In Windows, there is a hidden function which allows all system management tools (usually spread through control panel, computer management, administration tools etc) to be conveniently accessed from a single place. It is called as GodMode.
GodMode is not a plugin, or a software. To activate a GodMode shortcut, you just need to create a new folder and rename it to a specific file name with a code.
Create a new folder anywhere on your Desktop and rename the folder from 'New Folder' to this exact code:
GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
You'll notice while pasting the exact code as above into the folder name, the part 'GodMode.' won't get placed over there and only the code with the curly braces will, cause that part becomes the folder name and the code implements all the functions into the folder. You can also rename the folder to anything you want!
Just hit enter and your GodMode shortcut will get created. The folder icon will resemble like that of Control Panel.
You can now access all the functions and tools from one place which are originally intended to be available only to Microsoft developers.
The complete list of all the functions of GodMode are listed below in the screenshot. Preview in full screen for better readability. This code works for all Windows OS including XP, Win 7 as well as Win 8.
One of the user left a comment saying that, it didn't work on his XP SP3. It remained as a folder and said Windows cannot open this file. So I would suggest, after creating the folder, right click on it's properties and uncheck the read only button. Then try following up the procedure, it might work. Give it a try!
Harshit Jain provided a tip in the comments:
For all those who use Windows Vista 64-bit: Don't try this at home. It caused my Windows Explorer to repeatedly crash, rendering my account unusable. If you did this, here is a fix: Log in to another account on safe mode, and delete the registry entry with the same code you entered for God Mode.
Access Windows 7 hidden themes.
In Windows 7 there are a few official themes which gets unlocked as per your geographical location. It offers you location specific Aero themes based on the language and location you pick during installation. By default when you begin the installation of Windows 7, you choose English as your default language and sometimes you even select the default time and currency format as English (United States). Well, that's not a matter to worry about as you can change it later after the installation.
So after selecting US, you are presented with location specific themes from the United States with desktop backgrounds such as some scenery, a lighthouse view, orchid garden etc.
So in order to access order hidden regional themes, open Windows Explorer, click the Organize button and select folder and search options from the drop down menu. This should open up the Folder Options window. Click the View tab. Under the section labeled Advanced settings, look for the value Show hidden files, folders, and drivers and select it. Next, look for the value Hide protected operating and uncheck it. If prompted with a popup window click Yes, then click the OK button.
After that simply open up your run command by pressing Win+R or go to My Computer and in the address bar, type in the following path:
C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT
MCT is a hidden sub-folder in the Globalization folder. If someone doesn't knows the path and browse the Globalization folder, he/she won't find any such sub-folder named MCT until and unless their hidden files and folders are shown. That's why you directly go to that location using the address bar or run command.
When you open the MCT folder, you will find additional themes for Canada, Australia, South Africa, and Great Britain. Go into the folder that you want to activate its theme. You can also go in and grab just the wallpapers.
Open the theme folder inside the selected region folder. Double click on the XX.theme file to apply the theme to the Windows 7 desktop system. Once a theme is ran and activated, the theme will be remembered and saved into personalization options, so that user can change or select the theme again directly from personalization settings screen.
After you have checked out the new themes, go ahead and change the Globalization settings back for Windows. Launch Windows Explorer. Click the Organize tab and select Folder and search options from the drop down menu. Click the view tab and re-select Don't show hidden files, folders, and themes. Also re-select hide protected operating system files. Click the OK button.
That’s all there is to it. You should now have several new country themes available in your Windows 7 themes library. Right-click on your desktop and select personalize. You should now see your new themes listed. Enjoy!

I’ve included the Chuck Norris video here so you can give it a shot.

The panel above each seat contains an insulated mix of chemicals that, when burned, releases oxygen.
They may include a mixture of barium peroxide (a fine powder used in fireworks), sodium chlorate (a weedkiller), and potassium chlorate (reacts violently with sugar).
Therefore it is vital to tug the mask thoroughly (as always instructed in those exciting demonstrations), so the chemical process can start, as this mixture/burning is initiated mechanically by the tug. Once it starts, it cannot be stopped until everything has reacted and has burned out. The supply of oxygen lasts usually around 15 minutes tops.

When Steven Spielberg dropped out of college in 1968, he was only a few credits short of a diploma. So in 2002, after winning 3 Oscars, 5 honorary doctorates, and 2 lifetime achievement awards, he returned to California State University, long beach, to complete a degree in film and electronic arts. He placed out of FEA 309, the advanced film-making class.
He did this to show gratitude to his parents for giving him the opportunity for an education and a career.
To demonstrate his proficiency, he submitted Schindler’s List.

The church would then grant a safe space for whoever touched the knocker. The sanctuary knocker provided a fascinating but rarely used loophole for inmates sentenced to death, too — if you were to be hanged or have your head parted from your neck in a place nearby a church, your guards could, in theory, walk you through a church courtyard on your way to your execution. Deliberately marching you past church doors in order to give you the ability to then touch the knocker and be saved… priests could spirit you away to safety someplace far out of the authorities’ reach…
Church sanctuary laws existed in England until the year 1623, when they were officially outlawed. Until then one could, in theory, get away with any offense under the sun by merely touching an ornamental piece of metal on a church door.

Burj Khalifa is so tall that, from it, you can actually watch the same sun set or rise twice in a day.
If you watch the sun set from the base of the building and then take a super fast elevator to the top of the building, that same sun has not set yet. There is a time gap of 2-3 minutes. The same is applicable vice versa with sunrise.

His family spent a fortune on clothes for him, especially his custom-made shoes. His height also meant he was very heavy, though not noticeably fat. This put great pressure on his feet which caused discomfort and pain. When he was 18 his doctor noticed something that would kill him in the end. He had no sensation in his feet and could feel absolutely nothing in that area.
Robert with his family.
His size also meant that he was forced to wear a brace on his legs. This led to some chafing on his foot where a blister grew. Due to a lack of feeling he didn’t notice it and the blister soon become worse leading to him developing a fever. His health quickly deteriorated and doctors did all they could at the hotel were he was staying as there were no beds in the local hospital that could accommodate him.
One of the last things he said to his gathered family was, ‘’The doctor says I won’t get home for the celebrations,’’ a reference to the wedding anniversary of his grandparents. He then slipped into unconsciousness and died the next morning.

Screen savers were actually meant to save your screen.
During the times of early CRT monitors, if the same image was continuously displayed on the screen for a long time it would suffer a phosphor burn-in, which is permanent discolouration of certain areas causing image degradation and ghost images.
Screen savers were designed to mitigate this effect by making sure that the screen is either blanked out or filled with continuously changing images or patterns so this burn-in would not occur.
