- Most likely this will not be your last job so build relationships and make an impact. No matter how big or small your role, people will remember you if you show up with an attitude of "what can I contribute" vs "what can I get".
- It may not be easy. This does not mean you won't learn something. Sometimes perseverance is more important than being right.
- Trust your instincts and stand up for principles. That includes standing up for yourself when you recognize that your values are being compromised. Don't be afraid to leave if there is not a fit.
