A lot of good advice already.
Here are a few which are subtitle but ones people quickly judge you by without you even knowing. They are clues you are not paying attention.
- Pick up your feet when you walk.
- Don't chew gum when interacting.
- Wear appropriate clothing when in house. No reverse hats nor sag pants.
- Manners at the table while eating.
- Telling stories about stupid people or name calling
- Bragging, especially as a know it all.
- Describing how you are a victim of X
- Being rude with your phone, Including talking loudly or normally disturbing those around you. But even texting.
- Understand when people see you check your phone at every call, then don't answer when they call, they then know you put them on a low priority.
- Clock watching is rude unless you have announced it first.
- Dominate a conversation about your interest
- Correcting people
- Being oppositional
- Smoke without asking if it is an issue for others
- Act like you are bothered
- Be sarcastic
- Don't look at them directly
- Roll your eyes
- State you 'have to be you' to be comfortable.
People will make a mental note, you are not to be trusted.
