Hi.

First, my response atypical. Most people are lucky if they're earliest memories are 4–5. Mine was a little over a year old. Maybe 18 months.

I was crawling on a shag rug… I saw some change on a coffee table and I swallowed one of them.

I don't remember any of this board, but mom said when I tried to swallow, I'd get red, etc… and she took to the hospital where I was x-rayed. They found the coin lodged in my throat.

I do remember the large room I was kept in. Large black and white checkerboard floor, pale green walks, cribs lining the perimeter.

I always recall playing a game with my mom, while in the crib. I'd scoot down and set of the alarms. She scoot me back up, and I did it over and over, again. She's verified all this was true.

I remember at 2–3 also being with the neighbor boy Charlie. We found this creepy spider (to this day I'm obsessed with arachnids,) and we'd run up to it as close as we dared, and run away screaming. Come back, and do it over and over.

Same age, I remember sitting in my dad's lap and shooting mom with a ping-pong ball gun.

None of this is normal. In my early age, in actually had a borderline photographic memory.

I remember in third grade once, I couldn't recall the answer to a test question, so I closed by eyes and saw the page and “read” the answer.

It's even MORE ironic because my later years I developed memory issues. They done so much imaging on my brain -CT scans, Kris, EEGS, Seers, etc… they found my functions bizarrely and has some organic issues.

I actually have an asymmetrical brain, with a shrunken left temporal lobe including the hippocampus (Which is involved with memory).

I also have a bizarre thing my brain does where it speeds up with my eyes closed which is the opposite of what's supposed happen. In addition to being nocturnal and having a 36-hr circadian rhythm (as opposed to a 24 HR clock,) this has created quite the sleep disorder. I've tried everything and been on everything from vistaril to Xanax. Nothing works.

The avg age, like I said is 4–5 at the earliest. I have other memories earkiernthannthat, but this illustrates my point - there are always exceptions.

Hope this helps!
