Where To Find Affordable SEO Tools

When you pay for SEO tools, you’re paying to eliminate human hours put into research. You don’t need affordable tools - you can go a long way (read: all the way) with free tools:

The above four will take you as far as you need to go. From there it’s all about putting in the work.

Speed Up The Process With Free Online Marketing Tools

If you’re looking to speed up the process, there are various keyword research tools, optimization and performance tools, plus tools to get various other pieces of your puzzle in order, like:

  • Uber Suggest
  • Keyword Shitter
  • Site Checker Pro
  • GT Metrix for performance
  • WebPageTest for performance
  • LSI Graph
  • Good Keywords / Keyword Strategy Studio
  • Siteliner for broken links
  • Bulk Keyword Builder

There are a ton of tools. I wrote a giant round up of nearly 50 free online marketing tools

, that gives a quick breakdown of how each tool works, and how to maximize leverage for each tool.

The list deals mostly with SEO but some advanced online marketing tools are included, as being a modern SEO is about a lot more

than some on-page tweaking and adding keywords to headlines.

Beyond the basics of search engine optimization

Worth mentioning: SEO’s no longer about shoving some keywords into content and running some links to the domain. SEO’s and marketers spend so much of their efforts on keyword research and for the most part I think that stuff is a waste of time.

Your page/post is about whatever it’s about. You want to make sure the titles and headlines surround the keywords you’re targeting but at the end of the day, you’re not going to change what the post is about without changing the post.

Write about a subject, exhaust all the possible information you can, leave no stone unturned, and then tell people about it over and over until it ranks. There’s no special sauce beyond putting the f*cking work in.

Hope that helps, feel free to leave a comment and I’ll follow up with you.
