I’m American, but have lived in a few different countries and had the pleasure to meet numerous people of different cultures and origins. I also have had several friends from Russia and Belarus and have dated girls from those countries as well.

Russians are weird. All cultures have their own idiosyncrasies but Ruskies take the cake. Its hard to combine Vikings, Slavs, Mongols, and numerous other ethnic groups and not get something that is outside the ordinary. Add to this seven decades of a ridiculous Communist system built on lies and enforced with an iron fist, and the tramatic aftermath of that system's collapse and yours would be a different kind of nation too. thanks

Weird doesn’t mean bad however. Some of the warmest people you will ever meet are Russian (also, the coldest).
