What more could be done by others? Could wealthy black athletes and entertainers be doing more? Is it solely their responsibility?

How Vast Amounts of Land Have Been Stolen From Black Americans

Instead of only investing in startups, could black athletes start collaborating with black CEOs and business owners? Perhaps this is a continuation of the question, but after having our thriving communities destroyed and land stolen with impunity by white terrorist organizations in America since the end of 1800s, what more could we be doing amongst ourselves?

Is there a public and private solution?

Do we need to adopt a much more politically independent mindset with our support often deciding who wins elections and demand reparations for votes?

U.S. owes black people reparations for a history of ‘racial terrorism,’ says U.N. panel

I think until we tackle this problem head on black people will never get ahead en masse.

Since it does not seem like Reparations from the Federal Government will be happening anytime soon, or ever, the best idea I’ve been able to come up with involves “compound interest.”

Maybe we get reparations simply from negotiating favorable interest rates with the banks who got rich off of enslaving us in the first place by way of making massive deposits and fund our own programs that way… just from accrued compound interest?

You would of course, but thieving bankers never go to jail so maybe we don’t give them such a gift?

If the hundreds of billions of dollars black entertainers and athletes and business people generate each year were placed into a newly created black owned credit unions or banks each charged with making certain investments, along with the deposits of “normal folk,” couldn’t the interest alone create hundreds of millions of dollars for small business loans, Home and Car loans so we can stop being ripped off, healthcare subsidies, and an educational fund where all 40 million of us share in the wealth that’s generated by our fund or bank and we each receive a lump sum investment payout each year?

One step further, what if more than 50% of the payouts were a digital cryptocurrency you could only use at certified black-owned businesses, and black universities etc so that half of all of the money by default must be reinvested in our communities, reinvested in ourselves, something it would seem we haven’t done in over 100 years.

Maybe Van Jones would be interested in having some of his young brilliant coders design an app for locating ALL black-owned businesses across America, in every community, not just communities where predominantly black people live so it would be easy where to find businesses where the “Black Freedom Cryptocurrency,” can be used.

We used to have to do this only a few years ago because, “Nigras weren’t wanted,” and everything was white-only.

After being screwed out of the American Dream for so long, why don’t we start doing this again?

But how would this be administrated? Who would run it and would the money all go where it belongs?

If we can text message for who’s the best singer or dancer on television, certainly we can elect/ appoint a panel of legal experts, civic leaders, clergy, financial services executives, psychologists, and Black doctors etc to administrate a fund.

And the elected panel would have term limits and wouldn’t even have to be all black people who sat on and administered the funds and they’d be subject to all applicable securities laws if found to be doing anything illegal with the funds.

Everything they do could be on the blockchain or distributed ledger for Full transparency.
