With reference to IIT Bombay-

1. To get to experience an awesome journey called 'JEE preparation'.
2. You get to study in a QS top 200 university(and one of the best in India)
3. You get the IITian tag, which, howsoever overrated/undeserving/boastful you people feel it is (and it's not), is something.
4. You get to live among amazing people in an amazing campus.
5. You get to learn so much in non academic stuff. I'll be surprised if any other college has the 'IIT level' infrastructure for sports and cultural activities.
6. You get to be a part of so many technical stuff like IITB Racing, AUV(an underwater vehicle), Satellite program,etc.
7. Okay, what is your college fest's footfall? 1000? 10000? 20000? That's it? Mood Indigo has a footfall of 150000 people. Beat that, will you?
8. I am a frehser, so I don't have much idea, but the job/entrepreneurial projects/ higher studies placement is pretty good at IITs.
