I tried and failed at oil pulling. I had heard so many health benefits of it and doubted it, but have known a few people who've gotten positive feedback from their dentist after doing it daily for a few months. I'm getting back into it (promise) especially since I exercised while doing it to take my mind off of it. If you try it, just make sure you don't spit coconut oil in your sink, it is rumored to cause some real problems.

Acupuncture helped me a lot after I hurt my neck last summer. I said I'd never try it (even though I'm not afraid of needles) but I was in a desperate place. It's not painful enough that you're going to cry, but you are having needles stuck in you and staying there for a while.

Doing guided meditation before bed. I have really enjoyed this although I fought it at first. I just use ones of Youtube that I like. Search something like, "guided imagery meditation sleep".

Keeping track of all the food I eat and all the exercise I do via MyFitnessPal. I didn't realize how little of some nutrients I was getting and how much sugar and fat I was getting DAILY until I started to do this regularly.

Just curious, how did cold showers improve your life?
