The downtown core is extremely surreal between 3 and 6AM, especially during the summer when the weather is beautiful and there is absolutely not a soul around. You can wander the streets and feel like all the monolithic buildings are there for you to peruse by yourself. If you roam around on a bicycle it is particularly spectacular.
